PS VITA / PsTV PS VITA 2000 battery dying?

Hey gents I'm having an issue with my Vita CFW 3.60 H-Encore2. The battery seems to drain unbelievably fast for some reason. I would fully charge it to 100%, shut it down (hold power 3 sec) via the pop up option. I turn it back on 5 hours later and it's down to 85%. I have Airplane mode turned on but that doesn't seem to make a difference. At 100% I can game for around 3 hours with close to max brightness level. So, anyone knows what's draining the battery even when it's turned off?
 
Yes I think it's something with that feature. I messed around with it when I was trying to get CPS 3 emulator to work sometime ago. Well I lost my SD card's contents today, but the battery seems to be working fine now
 
that's one reason I don't overclock. it's good if it's a connected system like a pstv, but it could affect battery life if it's portable.
