If there are too many games in other categories (e.g. PSX or PS3) or if the covers are too big, the covers could stop showing due lack of XMB memory. I recommend to include the title id in the file of the ISO and and install the covers pack for ps1/ps2. The images are low resolution to save memory on XMB.
Personally in my situation , zero PSX or PS3 games was installed (both iso are on usb stick (PSX) and External HDD (PS3)
with ZERO PS3 game programs installed to play them (I dont know the name for theses in english , its when you start any PS3 and the game install an approximatelly between 1gb to 4 gb part of the game to be able to ready the disc or iso)
So my PS2 1TB was completely empty (aside mmcm / webman mod and 100 PS2 ISO All named EXACTLY like their ISOs counterparts!)
only approximatelly 25-30 of the 100 appeared , even with the PS3 Memory raised to MAX setting.
the only method that worked for me to show the covers even with different approach suggested by members was to ERASE the /psx folder in the mentioned path.
After that and a reboot & refresh they ALL appeared !
So I truly dont know what happened , i dont think its a XMB low memory issue
but in the end if it work for me im happy this way.
