PS3 PS2 ISO LAUNCHER 1.03 by HABIB

As most PS3 CFW user's know launching PS2 ISO (w/ Cobra) after firmware 4.46 caused many problems for nonBC consoles. Developer HABIB has been mowing down these obstacles, first he found a solution for the wireless sync issues on a single controllers, Then later on he fixed this for all controllers connected . Then also the developer has fixed the memory card bug.[break]s[/break]

Now developer HABIB has released a new version of PS2 ISO Launcher (v1.03) for HABIB COBRA 4.70 V1.02 CFW. This release comes with empty memory card and same klicensee. Also this version comes equipped with a PS2 Classic Converted Game (Homebrew Game), that you should start first before mounting a PS2 ISO, this ensure controller syncing and is a very important step. Instructions:

1.) Activate ps2 classic placeholder through psnpatch or reactpsn and install this pkg
2.) Run it and maintain sync (without mounting any games)
3.) Now onwards when you mount a ISO, run the Placeholder Icon and ISO will be loaded

1.) Habib 4.70 cobra 7.10 v1.02
2.) (theoretical compatible) Rebug 4.70.1 with cobra on joonies github (compilation required) (CEX only-dex requires a patch)

Finally we have passed through PS2 ISO difficulties after 4.46 cobra.

If you are on habib cobra then yes. If you are on habib starbucks then still yes but PS2 ISO will still not gonna work for you, cobra core is needed for that. BTW. Is launcher that redirect mounted game, emulator is already in your PS3.

Please can you share here solution how to do it )) I have Rogero 4.55 and new multiman. Installed by tutorial Habib ISO_LAUNCHER_1.03.pkg and reActPSN_v3.20+.pkg.983.v3.20+_brewology_com
I can start ps2ISO game ok...but for example on singstar ps2 game my USB microphones are not recognized,I have wireless and on cable for ps2/ps3 .
I tried all plug-in options left usb port,right...nothing works
Can you please give some details about that...I am not expert for ps3,but i would follow your instructions.

You have rogero 4.55 and playing PS2ISO?

Or you are using ps2 disc with Singstar PS3 app? If yes then controllers should be recognized. If no then i don't understand your setup, like PS3 model and do you have cobra added to rogero.

 

My suggestion is install Habib 4.78 Cobra v7.3 as your don't need to use the launcher anymore.

Yes I have Rogero 4.55 and I installed by tutorial Habib ISO_LAUNCHER_1.03.pkg and reActPSN_v3.20+.pkg.983.v3.20+_brewology_com.Everything works fine but my ps3 can not then recognize usb singstar
microphones( new wireless and old one with cable).
So I can use on PS3 ,dualshock contr. fine no problem during PS2ISO game,but when ps2ISO (singstar) ask me a USB microphone there is problem,it is not recognized!
I have PS2 ISO back up of my game,transfered on ps3 HDD,then multiman(this retro tab) ask me to recode to PS2ISO classic...then YES,and the game is on my HDD PS3
Then I gone to ps2 ISO launcher by Habib ...pressing start,game starts and all is ok working but like i said....problem NOT recognized my USB microphone.
I think that someone ansewered here but it was on private message So I am stuck on this problem.
I am fan of singstar but...arghhhh HELP.

 

No I do not have nothing installed like COBRA,just simple rogero 4.55 and latest multiman.

guys, just update to habib 4.78 or rebug 4.78.2. no reason to be on lower cfw now for ps2 isos thanks to habib/mysis

Just put it on your usb stick as PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP and upgrade from storage in system menu.

As always make sure there is no disc in the drive or mounted and good practice to temporarily disable your internet to avoid accidentally installing official firmware instead of custom.

No need to use any launchers etc to play your games. Couldn't be any easier.

Do like [MENTION=1720]self_slaughter[/MENTION] wrote. But just clarify things, until now you played ps2 classics not isos. From now you will be able to run PS2 ISO without conversion.

Ok here is result:
-Instaled this Habib 4.78 Cobra v7.3
-from before I left this on PS3,Habib ISO_LAUNCHER_1.03.pkg and reActPSN_v3.20+.pkg.983.v3.20+_brewology_com
-Start Multiman -Rertro Tab- found ps2iso game...click start(on ps2iso game) and then asked me to copy on internal HDD PS3 ,clicked YES. DID NOT asked me for conversion to ps2 classic game.
-solution 1-----Then i gone to PS2 format disc icon clicked..game started(singstar) and then again no microphone usb recognized. In this version small icon of PS2 format was written just PS2 format disc NOT name of the game,is this ok?When I starting ps3 games always is name of the game.
-solution 2------Clicked ps2 place holder,game starts again,and problem NOT SOLVED usb not recognized i tried both wireless and cable,no luck.
So any idea what now...some other software to instal,emulator....please help ))

its normal. might be the game thats not compatible with ps2 emulator.

 

Nah from what I've read at least the usb dongles themselves have never played well with cfw.

have you tried the ps3 version of singstar out of interest to see if they work in that?

If so, might be able to play your ps2 disc content via that, or maybe use a bluetooth phone etc...

So you think that is not possibile to play ps2ISO singstar on ps3 with usb microphones wireless or with cable ?
I tried to play my singstar ps3 games original and backup also and they working with no problem with wifi and cable microphones.So my mics are ok.
I can load and start ps2iso singstar game(backup) but like i said later came problem with microphones usb not recognized.

I tried 3 diferent ps2iso games singstar and no luck

I never played ps2 singstars on ps3 but i think is like this: How it Works: SingStar PS2-PS3 compatibility – PlayStation.Blog

Except when you are "swaping" disc you need to unmount then mount ps2 version using webman from pc. I think...

Also maybe [MENTION=89]aldostools[/MENTION] can help here, i remember that some experimental feature of webman MOD was related to ps2 singstar discs.
