we didn;t undenstard each other, sorry for my bad english.bd was problematic years ago, long before that last cleanup.i know it's securely connected because always when i'm doing maintenance i follow guides just to be safe.
If it started happening years ago is even harder to know because probably you are not going to remember if you did open the PS3 around that days (for some thermal paste change or whatever)
After that i guess you have opened it again at some point, and if there was something bad connected you would have noticed it, but still i think it worths to take a look at all that connectors just incase
Also, im thinking the ribbon cables sometimes breaks internally... in any point of his legth
This happens while bending them (or unbending them), the thin copper lines inside the plastic breaks and is like if there was a pin of a chip disconnected
If you have a multimeter you can check this, by removing the ribbon cables, and laying them over your desktop with the copper extremes aiming to the cellar, use some weight (coins, a book, whatever) to keep the ribbon cable hold in that position
And when is ready use the multimeter to meassure continuity in between the 2 extremes of every copper line of the ribbon cable
If the mulltimeter "beeps" (or shows infinite continuity) then the line is ok
If it doesnt "beeps" (or shows zero continuity) then the line is broken
By now... because you are on a noBD firmware you can open the top cover of the PS3 and remove the drive and ribbon cables entirelly, the PS3 doesnt cares about the presence of that parts now, and is going to improve a bit the airflow
