I can confirm this does/can happen.

EDIT:

It's caused by one of the RCO's. I cannot remember which one exactly but I remember looking into this and swapping back and forth between one in the mod and the OFW version and the issue came and went.

Strange o_O maybe something that broke it with system_plugin.rco (replacing images, so it does not affect just impose.rco if the size got big).

I will check this, since which version?

What happens when you press the ingame xmb? Nothing?

How to trigger it?

Can you or @Shaayn rec a video of it? since i'm not beeing able to reproduce it

Yep, doesn't work for me, I guess I will replace the ingame xmb. It was just to ensure it was my fault and not the hombrew. Thanks :)

Because i don mess with the in game xmb file since v1.1 haha, but maybe other rco could break it
 
@DeViL303 is known that custom items entries in the xmb will not show in the one in game right?

So after seeing the HEN one i realized that the PS3EXPLOIT HOME and Hybrid Firmware tools use custom icons but they shows in-game
 
It could be a font or specific language issue if the bug is not showing for everyone

They will show, its only items controlled by sprx that won't show.. Like if you move trophy to game.

Hm some of mine doesn't show, so maybe is the gim format that is wrong, i will try to see what format the official ones uses them.

1 - This is strange, so when you lauch the mod installer it worked, but after it has been installed you can't launch the mod installer again?
2 - What do you mean about the installation blocked the display of the texts of the Navigator? You mean after the Installation of the mod the Mod Menu Main Option Texts are Not Displayed?

If you meant this, is that because a new font is installed and since the Installer is not refreshed it will not load it, IT ONLY HAPPENS IN THE HEN VERSION, Because the installer does not is designed for HEN but dor CFW, so it askes it only if DEV_BLIND files are Touched, But since it aren't it don't ask it.

But it is in my plans to EDIT the installer, i will look out for the source code and try to edit it to DEV_REWRITE.

i didn't set it to DEV_BLIND because many ppl will not know how to install it, since it will need to go to PS EXPLOIT page and mount dev_flash as dev_blind;

But after the installation the ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLOSE IT. it does not affect the INSTALLATION OR THE SYSTEM IN ANYWAY
Nous ne nous sommes pas très bien compris ou alors le Traducteur de Google "fait du caca" avec mes mots, donc je reprends :
-> j'ai installé le MOD (v4.8) par le PKG pour HEN et l'installation s'est réalisée sans encombre. Elle est revenue sur le XMB.
-> J'ai cliqué sur la nouvelle icône de votre MOD apparue dans la colonne "Jeu" du XMB en y cliquant dessus et là, écran noir (BSOD), rien d'autre. J'ai du refaire démarrer la console par le bouton avec les ennuis que je vous ai signalé plus haut.

=> Le redémarrage étant accompli, j'ai lancé le Navigateur (dans la cession par défaut n°5) de la console et à mon grand étonnement la page est restée intégralement blanche, j'en suis sorti par la touche "O" de la manette. C'est la seule cession qui a maintenant ce gros défaut, les 4 précédentes sont impeccables, sans souci.

Maintenant, il est clair que si j'avais su que votre MOD est incompatible avec la "HEN Toolbox", je ne l'aurai même pas téléchargé car la ToolBox me suffit amplement. J'en remercie pour cela @DeViL303 car quand j'ai eu des soucis, il répondaient toujours présent, je suis fier de le connaître.

Voila, s'il y a des problèmes, trouvez-les, je ne suis pas en mesure de vous en dire plus.

We did not understand each other very well or the Google Translator "pooped" with my words, so I repeat:
-> I installed MOD (v4.8) by PKG for HEN and the installation was carried out without incident. She returned to the XMB.
-> I clicked on the new icon of your MOD appeared in the "Game" column of the XMB by clicking on it and there, black screen (BSOD), nothing else. I had to restart the console by the button with the troubles that I reported to you above.

=> The restart being accomplished, I launched the Navigator (in the default assignment n°5) of the console and to my great astonishment the page remained entirely blank, I left it by the key "O" of the remote. It is the only transfer which now has this big defect, the previous 4 are impeccable, without worry.

Now, it is clear that if I had known that your MOD is incompatible with the "HEN Toolbox", I would not even have downloaded it because the ToolBox is more than enough for me. I thank him for that @DeViL303 because when I had concerns, they always answered, I am proud to know him.

Voila, if there are problems, find them, I cannot tell you more.

I would need to know which ones, some items are handled differently. If you have moved some official item from one category to another, maybe you need to add icons/titles to the explore_category_xxx_rco, This does work in some cases to make them show on the ingame xmb but not for the trophy icon/title for some reason.

If the icons and titles are not in the rco, like for completely custom items like HAN Toolbox for example, then they should always work on the ingame xmb afaik.

I have all my new items into the explore_plugin_full.rco so when on ingame xmb they will be just empty spaces, even the title label, i know when adding them outside the rco it will work just fine the title and the icon, but since i got all titles translated to all languages they needed to be inside the rco but they will not work on ingame xmv.

@Shaayn @Cypher_CG89 Sorry guys but i couldn't reproduce the bug with the In game xmb

Here just works fine on both mods PRO AND 4K PRO, CFW AND HEN. ( i tested in all my video apps and some games like gta v , skyrim, gow 3)

Tested by @Niander466 too on HEN and it works.

I'm waiting for @Louay to test in his end too

NICE! i never though of it, now that you mentioned it, i realized that i added my custom icon in the category_user.rco and that's why it works there

I was trying to make the BD Movie/DVD Gameboot different from the Game Gameboot

But i couldn't add a different image to it @sandungas @DeViL303 is it possivel to add other image inside the custom_render?

But since it froze my console

I added the follow things

Booting DVD/BD Movies will have the following animation ( I'm posting images of the animation, because my phone broke and i can't record it)

Note that Now it has texts

For Games - " Game Quality and Resolution Enhanced"
For Movies - " "High Definition Audio and Image Quality"

Since they are texts they can follow the system language and be translated to all system available ones.


So the question is What do you think guys? and how about the texts? i want to improve them =) gimme some hints


Also if you guys can see the animation ( i'm having a little trouble with it , the text doesn't follow 100% the logo, its about 98% the same animation) can you check this out @DeViL303 @sandungas , in the end of the animation the logo grows a little bit more than the text
