I tried to do the installation again and it didn't work. it was almost 1h and in the end it gave error at the end.

to complicate matters further, it crashed on the backup restore screen, and there was only a black screen where no command from the control or the on / off panel responds.

any tips?

unfortunately not ... my ps3 called directly on the recovery screen. I had to redo the entire installation again.

The installer unfortunatelly is not mine

The flash files will be written, but since the HDD ones are already installed and still there, it will give this error

You can just hit no, and close the installer

or go to dev_hdd0/game/PROTOOLBX and delete it.


Since i'm uploading the v5.0.1 i'll add a readme to avoid this problem

Same happened to me...do we lose everything we had installed?

Please, go to dev_hdd0/game and delete the PROTOOLBX

but hitting no and closing the installer is not working?

it always worked for me

This is just with the HDD files, closing it, will be enough since the flash ones are already there and the hdd ones too

That was not the problem, the problem was with the PS2 EMU FIX file. After I installed it and turned off my PS3 the console went to recovery mode

this ps2 emu is not beeing loaded while booting, and its from the ofc as you are the one that sent me it.

My testers just test it, and working good

DID YOU REBOOTED? you need to reboot after installing the fix
