PS3 slim fan speed

Interesting stuff here :) This 23 blades fan has access to bearings :) I tried last night to replace bearings with new ones but the noise is the same, it doesn't comes from bearings :)
EDIT: Here is sound of 23 blades fan https://instaud.io/3wTW
And here is delta with 17 blades https://instaud.io/3wTX

Between 2100 and 2500 its the same! Chipset wise is the same 40nm and 45nm, the JSD-001 (2500) its also the first board to come with an integrated BD Controler, the SUR-001 still needs a BD Dautherboard, eliminating the need for a NoBD CFW in case the BD fails.
OT:I have situation that I want to sold Blu Ray drive from 2504b PS3. Does this drive have to be married on that model, if not is there a way to just replace optics?

There is no need to remarry in CECH-25xx or newer models, you can replace the bluray drive completly, is just a matter of disconnecting the old and connecting the new one

The cheapest way to repair a BD drive is by replacing the laser pickup though, is this part:

The laser pickup wears out with the use, if the laser pickup have reading problems it increases the power of the laser beam, this generates heat in the the coils and diodes of the laser pickup and eventually gets fryed

But no drama, this failure is something normal... the only thing you need to worry to prevent this failure to happen prematurelly is to keep your discs clean without fingerprints and without scratches :)

You could also buy this... is the same laser pickup of the previous photo but it has the slider (metal frame) with the rails, etc...
There is no need to buy it really because doesnt wears out, im mentioning it just incase you find it cheaper

Has anyone had luck lubricating a sealed/closed bearing fan? I drilled through the plastic hoping to find a bearing to lubricate, but it's a metal plate (pic3) that doesn't spin with the fan.
