PS3HEN PS3HEN - Official Release Thread (Homebrew Enabler for the PS3) v3.5.0 (4.93 support)

i got a ps3 slim with OFW4.84. I installed HFW 4.84.2 successful and restarted it . But checking in system setting the version still remained OFW 4.84. and not HFW???
It will not say 4.84 HFW, it will show 4.84 as on any CFW it is almost the same. It should show 4.84 and nothing else!

THE PS3HEN.BIN and stackframe.bin isn't at "4.84 HFW PS3HEN_2.1.1.zip"?
I can't find them.

Hi! Just a little doubt so I can decide whether or not to install hen.
I own several games purchased from the PSN store. I've already saw that point about it no being able to boot PSN purchased games due to han being enabled by default, my doubt is:

Since HEN has to be enabled each time ps3 is booted, will I be able play those legit games when HEN's not enabled or should I just wait for that issue to be solved? Thanks!

My purchased games works normally under hen enabled.
I even use Artemis on them.

They should work normally but I get a error if I try to use a PSN game with HEN enabled! Without HEN works perfectly and also you can remove HEN easier then you think if u don't like it! Just get the offical update and then put on USB and install! HEN removed!

Okay guys I have been trying to install 4.84.2 for a week now lol. I have now tried 3 different usb's to no prevail (all are formatted to fat32). I have PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP. As well as the other files mentioned in multiple youtube vids. I have tried turning off my internet on the ps3 and updating, still nothing shows up for system update. also tried putting ps3 in recovery mode and updating, nothing. Really sucks seeing "no applicable update was found" over and over! Please help a brotha out!

Try to install the update from recovery mode, if that does not work I don't know for now!

Apart from FAT32, the USB drive should be MBR and not GPT formatted.

use a clean NTFS formatted hdd to get FW installed in Recovery mode, or format your ps3 one!

So im sometimes having an issue with my RIFs for games seeming like their being deleted, im on HEN 2.1.1 and have my RAPs in hdd_dev0/exdata but when i load a game it says the data is corrupted but if i install the pkg rif installer from the ps3xploit resigner the game works fine

Hi i need some help. I would like to know on how to make this modded libaudio.sprx works for me to transfer the gamesound to usb headset or bluetooth? I tried to replace the files inside the dev/blind using multiman and while hen is enabled. Once I exit multiman, I restarted the console and enable hen again after that I launched any games but it kicked back to xmb or sometimes the ps3 shutdown itself.

I would like to know if there's anyway for us to make this work on ps3 Hen.

You can find the modded libaudio.sprx on this site https://www.google.com.ph/amp/blog.madnation.net/ps3-bt-usb-audio-passthrough/amp/
