I dont know, the idea of replacing dev_hdd0 by dev_bdvd is not the kind of thing that is going to work always with all games. The root of the problem is we dont really know what the game does with that paths... so is just a matter of trying and see what happensI forgot to change the file name to EBOOT_liberated_fixed.ELF. So I did that and it encrypted. I placed the the newly created eboot.bin
in the liberated disc folder and used ps3 iso tools to create the iso. The iso boots, but none of the dlc shows up. How can I fix this ?
It did work for me with the dead space extraction game, and it seems it did work for you too, but only partially ?
In dead space extraction it seems to work because the game doesnt makes any "gamedata" installation the first time you boot it... you know, in that process the game is coppying files from the disc (real or virtual) to the itnernal HDD, and after that it loads the files from HDD... so internally is using the path for dev_hdd0
But the DLC's are always located in HDD... maybe thats why your game is ignoring them... since we replaced dev_hdd0 by dev_bdvd is trying to search for them inside the disc (ISO or JB)
Dunno, try to "integrate" the DLC files together with the game files
And btw... for the tests there is no need to convert the game to ISO... just play around with the foler/files (JB format)
EDIT:
There are a few PS3 games that really needs to be converted to ISO (doesnt works in JB format), i hope your game is not one of those... but all the other PS3 games works fine in both JB and ISO format
