PS3 Question about Rebug CFW

Rebug has the Cobra payload integrated within it, which means games can be run from either the internal or an external (USB) drive, in ISO format. No disc in the drive required :)
 
Thanks. I have another problem since i have been using Rebug CFW. When i bought the ps3 it was with some CFW 4.55 And it came with one disk game that was working fine then. I was using my ps3 only for movies and youtube. Now i tried to play a game from the disk, but when i insert the disk console freeze when loading the game. Just black screen.
 
Every game requires a minimal firmware version to run, as example a game released in 2008 is going to require firmware 2.00 as much, but a game released in 2015 would require firmware 4.00... and so on
You should update to a modern firmware, this way your firmware version is newer than the games (in other words, all games should work in that firmware version)

Incase the firmware required by the game is newer than your firmware installed it should display a warning... not a crash... so not sure if this is your problem, but anyway, you should start by installing a 4.85 CFW
 
Installed FERROX 4.85 and tried my game and the console freeze again.The game is Dark Void. It's 2010 game i think. It was working fine when i bought the ps3 one year ago with 4.55 CFW. Are there any settings in CFW or multiman that i have to make for original disk games to work?
 
It could be a problem with the game itself, I have a Tekken 6 copy that freezes the system after the first loading screen. All other discs work fine.

No special settings, with original disc games is just insert and play it
One thing you should do is to uninstall the "gamedata" of that game (you know, at top of the "game categrory" in XMB you can see the data generated by each game)... click triangle in that gamedata and delete it

Also, incase the problem continues you should try to delete also the savedata
The gamews loads the savedata automatically when they boots, so ncase the savedata is corrupted the game is not going to boot ever (unless you delete that corrupted savedata)
