Ok, in meantime i think i found possible issue. PCSX2 compress memorycards by default. Try right click on memory card, then push advanced, and untick compression.

Jabu just now tried again 3 games, with 3 different cards.

First is Persona 4, and card from PS3 (.VM2).
Second is Super Bust a Move and card from PCSX2 (.PS2)
Third is Monster Hunter and card from PCSX2 edited with save from gamefaqs using mymc-GUI (.PS2)

- He deleted on saves that he had earlier on ps4.
- Installed games with custom cards
- Run game, loaded save,
- did something in game, save games.
- Then turned off PS4,
- reloaded game after turning on ps4, and saves from previous time loaded just fine.

So for now developer is not able to reproduce that issue at all. I also can't help too much, maybe you had some old saves for that game on PS4 earlier? Really no idea what's going on.
 
Are there any plans to integrate widescreen patching into PS2-FPKG?

Would be good to skip using PS2 Patch Engine on it's own.
Actually there was idea to implement that. But there are some obstacles, not sure is doable with the same success ratio as with ps2patch engine. Problem are games that patch memory that is not included in elf range. PS2 Patch engine in situation like that seems to "inject" real cheat engine into iso that get rid of that. Is not doable to make something like that automatized for config. Second idea is to use ps2 patch engine in the background to have all in one app. But app is closed source, and this gonna be little hard.

But this is still something that eventually can be added at some point.

i tried Prince of Persia SOT.. using Jak emulation.. it works fine except for the movies between the game play it plays very very slow....
 
I ran the game test again. After importing the PS3 archive, the ten games tested are no problem. The second time the archive is loaded, the game will no longer prompt that the archive is damaged. It's strange. Is the archive of PCSX2 related to the version?
 
Im try use save from PCSX2 Ghosthunter game! American version not started only light black screen at start...sadly

So VM2 saves from PS3 are fine, but only PCSX2 cause issue right?
Hmm, weird issue. Jabu tested saves from PCSX2 v1.4.0 just in case that matter. Also which HEN you are using, and are you still on 5.05?

In theory, the archive of PCSX2 should not be affected by the version. I use PCSX2 version 1.50. For me, there is really no problem with the PS3 archive, I am still stuck at 5.05.hen 2.13
 
PS2 memory card images can be with ECC codes and without them. Maybe issues are here (or possibly in none standard page/block size?). VM2 contains ECC.

ffgriever wrote many years ago CLI app to convert them on the fly so it would be easy to implement such option in this toolkit without any hassle just by invoking it on demand (detection can be made just by checking file size ;p).

Im have some info about Ghosthunter game. I'm will play it on my ps3 becouse atlast have good config for that game and its fix all bugs and slowdowns. But someday im want play it on ps4, now its unplayble. If use default emu while convert its playble but it have same bug after church with ladder as early on ps3. If use jak emu - Pal version even dont boot (freeze at choice languge screen), US version boot and playble but freeze at starting on swamp stage (pity). Im convert manualy and with PS2-FPKG 0.4 by Jabu - result same. Also try add ps2 memory card from PCSX 2 - its show only black screen while boot, without save card its boot but as im say its freeze at swamp stage. So as @nifengyuexia says - If other emus can also use PS3 archives and PCSX archives, it will be more convenient, maybe that way will let me play Ghosthunter game!

.i tried to add codebraker files to iso/bin..
no luck...
...come to think of it....
i only tested a cd-rom game
and only the jak 2 emulater...
...i get error...
Tryied messing with the Game cfg. File to boot into codebraker....
...codebraker is a must...
probly wont be posible on theses emulaters...
but i like jaks 2 emu ...games lot alright.
compaired to ps3 emulation...
also Myst 3 works.....good

This is emulator limitation, not app itself. Earlier emulators don't support custom memory cards, that feature was added later. That's why JAK emu support it, and Rogue don't.

Only "memory card emulator" I know that is using non ECC cards is OPL. PCSX2, PS3, PS4, other emus, apps to manipulate MC images, all that use card images with ECC. ;)

If use default emu while convert its playble but it have same bug after church with ladder as early on ps3.
Use ps3 custom config.
