I feel like a complete idiot but am I missing a step? I can convert my games, install them, and they load perfectly, but I can't seem to press the start button to play a game. They will just continue showing the loading videos no matter what game or emulator I pick.
Do I need to do something to enable support for the DualShock 4 or else change the option button to be the start button?
Thanks a million. Turns out I am an idiot but I appreciate the patience.left side of the touch pad is select, right side is start
2. I'm searching online for PS4's PS2 emulation, about Jak v2, but I can't find anything solely focused on it. Can anyone tell/give me a link about it? What exactly is Jak and Rogue? How many PS2 emulators does PS4 have?
First off, thank you for answeringeach ps2 classic game come with it's own emulator. Jak emu is the emulator of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Jak v2 refers to the one that came with the game update pkg. Rogue is for Rogue galaxy.
You can see that eboot.bin of each emulator has different size, if you open docs/revision.h with wordpad you can see the build date. it goes without saying that newer does not equal better.

By that logic, does that mean there are as much emulator as there are PS2 classics?each ps2 classic game come with it's own emulator
Yes.By that logic, does that mean there are as much emulator as there are PS2 classics?
Actually yes. Jak is generally last emu released (Jak2,3,x technically, but they seems to add only game specific fixes, and decrypted version is not public available), and Rogue is first emu released. That one is bugged, but since PS2 is weird beast that help some games. And why this program, by default, only gives those two options? Does that mean those two emulators are capable of running most, if not all PS2 classic games?
Thanks a lot, this is new for me.Yes.

Emus between that very rarely help to improve compatibility. Only emu that is worth testing beside 2 embed is KOF98 emu imo.
So there is no reason to add all of them to app, you can do that by yourself. Since this app support additional emulators.
Just find emus online. and throw them to correct folder (check 2 existing emus for path example).
This feature is just not available in emulator code. They added it later, probably in Star Ocean 3 emu, as that's first game which use it.Why is Rogue emu can't have custom memory card?
Sadly i have no idea which one can run it. On wiki there is a only note that Jak emu can't.Also, do you have a suggestion for an emu that could run DoC FFVII, while still having the option to have custom memory card?
Thanks again for answering. It was running fine using PS2 Classics GUI, I dunno what emu that program uses? This feature is just not available in emulator code. They added it later, probably in Star Ocean 3 emu, as that's first game which use it.

The program can provide you with a more convenient way to make PKG, but it will not improve any compatibility. This requires you to have a certain understanding of the PS2 configuration and test and verify the configuration over and over again. This is not easy. This game has long been repaired by Kozarovv, but the texture of the cutscenes is lost, but it does not affect the game. Thanks for v.06 version.. Klonoa 2 is fixed ?!
