I deleted the XMBMANPLS folder. Than MultiMan not work.

I maked in a few days another Install for Cfw Rebug Lite 4.86.1 in Safe Mode.

Than i see its work or not.

tested in rebug 4.86.1 and it works wonderfully, thanks for your work, I have changed the waves, fonts, icons, startup logo, sound, the only thing to say is that with the ps1 power-on sound it cuts out when entering the menu prinicpal, just that, I'm happy, again thanks for your work

Cheers, yeah I noticed that. The PS5, Xbox Series X sound have the same issue as they are long too.

I can apply a patch to custom_render_plugin.rco to allow for longer power-on sounds, but I don't think its really worth replacing a system rco just for that. The same patch also delays the clock from appearing. But I might include it as a separate patch though. Something like "Allow Longer Startup sounds to Play Fully" maybe.
 
Here is a tip that may be useful for some people that haven't noticed this new feature in webMAN MOD:

Ultimate Toolbox comes with a great set of custom fonts. I particularly liked the following modern font:

However that font has the issue shown in the picture: the font is too large and the text wraps to the next line, loosing part of the info.

To fix this issue is very easy: go to /setup.ps3, change the language to Custom and save.

Very impressive. I want to try it but I can't because I'm using HEN instead of CFW.
By the way, can you help me, how do I change the background color on boot? I have tried changing the color in the settings, the background color in xmb changes but the color at boot doesn't change. Which files should i change or edit? what about lines.qrc? on boot the background color is like yellow or orange, while on xmb it is blue. I want the background color to be blue the same as xmb.
please help me, if you know.

the only thing what i done . I Activate a Spoofer . While Sony nerv with update to 4.87.

and the 4.87.2 Evilnat CFW i dont like it. My fav. is REBUG . I hope theyre come back again and make us happy with new CFW

The only way I know of so far is to replace all the background textures inside lines.qrc with the color you want forced all the time, otherwise it will show different colours at start up depending on the month and time of day.

Try this attached lines.qrc, it is a wave with blue forced all the time. I will add a new menu to Ultimate Toolbox that allows any color to be forced all the time.

P.S. In my tests Ultimate Toolbox does work fine on HEN, there are just acouple of settings that are CFW only, The main one being Firmware Settings > Show IP on XMB, that will cause a soft brick on HEN and require a HFW reinstall. Also you should not use the extended download plugin toggler as that patch is already included in HEN, other than that it should all work on HEN.

Note for HEN you would need to manually add this query to your category_game.xml:

Ok, well I don't use spoofers so I can not help there. I do not have time to make this compatible with every possible combination of mods. I test this on Rebug and Evilnat.

for me it's fine like that, it's just to say some small defect, I don't think it's worth getting too complicated
 
Do the Soft and Hard Reboot options work for anyone? I'm using Evilnat 4.87.2 on my CECHA00. Everytime I use these options, my PS3 freezes, not rebooting at all and I have to manually power it off.

Update: tried other options and they all freeze my PS3 too. :sang banghead:

Nvm, I forgot to install required plugin (thought that it will just install webman mod).

But it seems that Revert to Original Cold Boot logo is restoring REBUG logo instead of PS3 one.

for me if even the reboot to rebuild file system and database works, I have 4.86 rebug

Well Idk why the option has the webman mod icon so I just assume that. Also, if webman mod icon changes to the one with syringe one, the option also changes to that one too.
 
Yeah there is something weird thing going on with symlinks or remaps of that ICON0, I can't do anything about that.
 
I wonder do these remaps have to always be 2 way and read and write? For example if I have the coldboot.raf remapped to hdd, then I add a new coldboot.raf to flash, it goes to hdd instead. Same with this ICON0, I add a new ICON0 to XMBMANPLS and it updates the UPDWEBMOD ICON0 too.
