I mean this. please change to 'You CAN ONLY use'You CAN use a FAT32/ExFAT formatted file and mount as well as manage it!
D:\>udpbd-server.exe \\.\F:
Opened '\\.\F:' as Block Device
- read/write
- size = 250056MB / 238472MiB, sector size = 512
Block size changed to 128
Server running on port 48573 (0xbdbd)
UDPBD_CMD_INFO from 192.168.1.10
UDPBD_CMD_WRITE(cmdId=0, startSector=89600, sectorCount=1)
UDPBD_CMD_WRITE(cmdId=2, startSector=18432, sectorCount=1)
UDPBD_CMD_WRITE(cmdId=3, startSector=87296, sectorCount=1)
BULLSHIT...UDPBD works without setting a static IP address on the PS2 unlike what you state since it works with DHCP and also unlike what you state, it's possible to use UDPBD using a router since YouTube videos prove it.
This is not true either... I simply start it from USB and it works all the time.UDPBD needs OPL to be in mc0:/APPS but I want it to be in mc1:/APPS so that my game saves are saved on a non-FMCB MC.
That's correct and a known issue.UDPBD sometimes doesn't show games until I exit OPL and/or close the UDPBD server and run the former and/or the latter again.
Those of you who have issues should try "Mode 1" as well as the "vexfat" UDPBD Server from User/Dev @Awakening, which allows to share folders and MIGHT work better, since it could possibly introduce A BIT of latencies and the issues (sudden crash, etc.) seem to be related to TOO FAST hosts/servers!

It can't "write" (for now?)...
Only the original Server does.
But I should at least play, and it is giving me an error on thatYou can't use VMCs nor save game-settings.
More like an issue with the server, I tried several games and they are a copy of the usuals that work fine over SMB or MX4SIO.IDK... ISO name? Bad dump?
It's a great thing that folders can be used now, but for me, I still need to disable my AV (no big deal), but also, OPL gives me: "Error: could not run the item". I also can't create VMCs.
The error seem to show up when OPL can't open the file, so indeed something went wrong with the server. Could you provide more info on how did you setup the server. Here if it's not too off-topic, Discord or GitHub.
