PSX-Place's own moderator and scene developer bitsbubba straight out of "Camp Crystal Lake" has been busy freeing us of those damn USELESS PSN requirements on many 3rd-party applications on the PlayStation 3. These are Round 2 (if you have downloaded them from before via this link or just seen them on other sites recently, we suggest you delete and install these lighter compressed ones, also there has been some new ones added such as PopcornFlix . Click on the titles below for the downloads of these applications.

Hey Guys & Gals,

I made a few of these for my own personal use (with the help from tutorials by strictlyfocused@PSX-Scene) but then got the bug and wanted to see how many I could do. Here they are the 11 that I've got working so far, I'm still looking into the others.

Its easy to do yourself if you have that already use the tool e.s.s.s.e that is front paged on the sdat and eboot then re-pkg with ps3tools or similar. Most are that easy if not I'll try to grab it tonight and use a hexeditor on it to change any flags to turn off PSN checks.

Although i think it can be done by just editing the right offset like how i suppose psn patch does.

It show 4.40 version on sprx files, so it worked on 4.46, now it works on 4.21+ :dancepine:

yea it wasn't working right in testing so I took it down

Thank you for the files... The klic.txt is updated including the klic BBC iPlayer too (not included in your file).

If you resign IGN sprx using compression, the pkg can be shrinked to 16MB.

BBC iPlayer and Multiplayer.it are missing in this list

My issues:
For some reason BBC iPlayer doesn't play the videos... I think it has region/country lock.
Popcornflix starts but don't let me access the content.
Multiplayer.it videos load too slow.
All the others are working fine :chewy:

For bbc iplayer it doesn't play videos even with the official pkg from psn, i think it is UK only service.
For multiplayer.it it's slow for me too with both modded and original Pkg, but i tought it was my crappy internet causing issues.
For popcornflix i have no idea.

your welcome, I or my other testers don't have a WWE Network membersip so we haven't tested further than the PSN bypass
