PS4 Thought about time got a PS4 ;)

Hi peeps, right I ben on a mad collecting of my old consoles and hand helds last 2/3 years and finally got a PS4 and JB 9.00 and all great.. Now I need a few pointers to where I should watch vids,read tuts and generally get the most out of it.. I been enjoying my ps3's with PKGI and wondered - is there a simular app here? and just want to know as much as poss - so no ban etc.. Many thanks peeps.. Also is there a looking for someone to play area thread? Always up for playing and meeting new peeps.. many thanks if you read all.. Merry Xmas

Well there is a homebrew store on PS4 but no you will not find games on there because even if you did they wouldn't run. You gotta make FPKG for your games to run when jailbroken. Any games you have before will still work outside of PS+ games. Those are on a timer so once the date is over and no connection to PSN they deactivate.

Since PSN isn't available for a JB and the devs have intention to ever make it work. This is due to the rampant cheating and so forth online. Anyhow once you set up the JB it will no longer point to Sony servers due to the DNS change.

I have seen one report of the guy saying his games got deactivated but who knows how much truth there is to that. And it was 5.05 when we still has to block Sony servers. It isn't needed for 9.00 but still I suggest using a throwaway account just in case. I got banned on the PS3 years back. Literally thousands of dollars lost as it took my PSP, Vita, PS3 & PS4 games away.

I found out quite a bit now and got a few things working etc.. But 2 questions I have is {sry 3}
1) Any games I have the disks for and are genuine - can i play them online without starting hen obviously.. And can I use my genuine account with them, or shall i still use a throw away account with them too ?
2) So am I right in thinking I cant play FPKG online?
3) is there any private servers where peeps can play online with other JB peeps

1- Nope no online with the PS4 even from disc. Honestly I prefer it this way. The PS3 just got stupid with everything having online access and cheats all the time. Good riddance!!

2- Nope you can't mainly because you have to be on current firmware as the PS4 has never seen a current firmware hacked. And even if someone had a hack no one will release it to the public. The hacker one is the best damn I deal I have ever heard of. We get out consoles exploited, Sony's IP is safe and the guys that did it got paid a hefty amount. Win win for everyone.

3- Look up Hamachi. It's in the beginning stages but works and will most likely be the closest thing to online play the PS4 sees. They are cheap and plentiful on 9.00 or below. Do what I did and find a cheap one locally. This way you can do it all.
 
OK many thanks !! And yeah I agree with how stupid PS3 went !! It got to the point where u was lucky to find a game where peeps wasn't using mods etc.. I'll think I'll keep my online gaming to my PC .. ;)
Mind you with all the systems I've bought and modded in the last year + I ain't got much time to play any one game much now .. lol
I got a psp 2000, then I seen a vita, then a 3DS, a dreamcast was next, PS2 slim, PS3 Phat,PS3 slim, not super slim garbage.. umm Wii was next I think, then a second vita X Box Phat , umm then a 360 slim, but that had a dot of death I need to try a heat the board through.. And finally PS 4 the other week !! I forgot how many games I've played and loved (then forgot) over the years !!

hamachi 023 is out.

im asking is there any1 who using hamachi or want to use, so we can make some place for announce play or better how to find out server names and join it!
want to play CODs.
