That means the eboot is working but the sprx isn't. A lot of sprx's don't work due to the fact that they do calls that hen can't process.

You don't need to use a debug EBOOT on HEN, there's no point since you aren't on DEX. Also, since you are not using DEX, creating a DEX eboot will not work.

you can use dex only with han but hen is not compatible with dex so running the exploit will freeze

  • Setup

    First thing you're going to need is HEN, obviously. If you don't have it already, you can get it from here: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/ps3hen-v2-0-0-official-update.23955/

    You're also going to need webMAN. webMAN is automatically installed with the AIO version of the HEN packages (that say they have webMAN automatically installed), from that you can just update to V2.

    Last thing you're going to need is a resigning program. I use the aldostool's resigner for this, but you can use E/S/S/S/E. For the purposes of this, I'll use aldostool's resigner. You can get it from: https://www.psx-place.com/resources/ps3-tools-collection.594/

  • Resigning the SPRX/Eboot

    Assuming you already have the SPRX and Eboot downloaded, we're just going to get right into getting them ready.

    The first thing you should do is place them both in the same folder, with nothing else (I just personally find this easier, but it's your choice). Right click your EBOOT.BIN file and on the menu there should be an option named "SELF Tools". Open the side menu, and choose the "Resign EBOOT/SELF" option.

    This should open a new window where it shows your EBOOT being resigned. Once it's done, a dialogue box should pop up. Choose yes, this'll resign your SPRX too. Once this one is done, another dialogue will come up. I recommend choosing no, but this one is just your personal opinion.

  • Applying to the PS3

    Now you have your signed SPRX and EBOOT, you're going to have to transfer it to your PS3. Assuming you already have webMAN, the next steps will be using FTP.

    On Filezilla (or whatever FTP program you decide to use) move to /dev_hdd0/game/[YOURGAME]/USRDIR/ and place the EBOOT.BIN in there (replacing the one that's already there).

    Then go to /dev_hdd0/tmp/ and place your SPRX in there (don't place it in any sub-folder).

    Launch your game and now it should work.

I installed and extracted ps3 tools but when i right click no side panel and options appear.

That's not just my problem. That's the majority of people's problems. A lot of people have complained that off-hosts don't work for any call of duty. Soooo, either you're lying or they're lying.

Yeah, it's not quite that black and white. You're not considering that you just don't know how to sign the SPRX's properly? Or that I haven't tried the same SPRX's you and others have?

Like I said though, your problem. If you want to ruin other people's online gaming experience, figure it out yourself. I'm just stopping the spread of misinformation, because it does work if you know how to sign them correctly.

It's not just me signing sprx's properly, apparently it's the majority of people in the community.

Me and others have a list of about 150 different sprx's for Black Ops 2 alone. We've also tried creating over 50 different SPRX's in total. We've tried all signing methods, and even created our own and still, not working.

I'm not doing this to ruin the online community. I'm doing this because, frankly, I want to do this.
 
I managed to get the BO2 GSC SPRX Menu Injector to work by resigning the SPRX with Aldostools collection and setting the permission of the SPRX to 777 in Filezilla (not sure if the permission change is required)

if it's asking for a klicense, you may have selected the wrong option. getting a klicense requires the rap, but ps3tools has a repository of hundreds, if not thousands, of klicenses in a txt file.
 
Is there any way to do this on android? I'm asking because I don't have a windows and my mac doesn't have any storage left.
