PS3 HAN [TUTORIAL] Convert PSX/PS2/PSP Games for PS3Xploit 3.0 HAN

It is possible to convert a PS3_GAME folder with EBOOT.BIN in PKG file for playing on PS3Xploit v.3 in OFW? I've got Kingdom Hearts 1.5 in PS3_GAME but my PS3 doesn't read this format file...

any know how to use the config files for the ps2 games? i want to play the tony hawk series but they all need a config file to fix graphical issues etc and i have no clue on how to use these lol any help is appreciated
 
Hey first of all thanks for everything. You do gods work here. But i have one problem since im a noob on this topic. I installed a pkg on my ps3 already but found those files on the internet with a fitting RAP-file. now i tried converting my own isos but in he end there is a pkg only of course. dont you need a RAP-file in the end to convert it to a RIF-file and put it onto your usb stick too ?

Not for converted games (if you talk about psx/psp/ps2)
 
Try to install DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3 with mods(ps2) and all works perfect to install

But in the game i cant make any special power because the ps3 freeze and get out of the game.
Its very important ps2 placeholder r3 pkg? The game start well without this program
 
I'm still on 4.81, should i just update to 4.82? From what ive seen, to install c00 unlock games I'd need access to psn and if im on 4.82 i wouldnt need to set up a server on my pc to log in on4.81

Before anything, You NEED to have a dump of both your idps.bin and your act.dat files in the PS3xploit_resigner folder​

  • The longest and the hardest one. If you already own a ready PSX2PSP game, go to step 11
    1. Get your PSX game in a bin/iso/img format
    2. Open PSX2PSP in Classic Mode
    3. Go to Options
    4. Set compression to 0
    5. Restart the app
    6. Pick your ISO
    7. If you have a multi-disc game make sure you choose your CD2 in the "file 2" section
    8. Make sure your file1 Game ID fits your Main Game ID
    9. Put your Main Title ID somewhere in a txt file, you will need it
    10. Launch compression
    11. Get your EBOOT.PBP
    12. Drag it on the rifgen_edatresign from ps3xploit resigner and resign it
    13. Now put it back to the PSX Classics folder
    14. drag it on "make_psone_metadata.exe"
    15. Now you have an ISO.BIN.DAT file
    16. Hold Shift and Right-Click somewhere in your folder, open CMD
    17. Execute the following : "make_npdata -e ISO.BIN.DAT ISO.BIN.EDAT 1 1 1 0 16 3 00 UP9000-TITLEID_00-0000000000000001 5"
    18. Get your ISO.BIN.EDAT and put it to "PS1 Classics PSN Work Folder/USRDIR"
    19. Get your EBOOT.PBP and put it to "PS1 Classics PSN Work Folder/USRDIR/CONTENT"
    20. Modify the ICON0.PNG and PIC.1PNG to your game's logo and background (if you want to) using photoshop/paint.net/whatever
    21. Rename the "PS1 Classics PSN Work Folder" to your Game TitleID
    22. Copy the folder to Trueancestor PKG Repacker
    23. choose "fast PKG"
    24. Get your PKG and install it on your PS3
    25. Enjoy

    1. Get your PS2 game in a bin/iso format
    2. Open PS2ClassicsGUI
    3. Encrypt
    4. Get the resulting ISO.BIN.ENC
    5. Go back to PS2ClassicsGUI
    6. Make PKG :
    7. Right click the Image/Background if you want to edit it
    8. Double click "PS2 Classics" to put the name of your game
    9. Put whatever you want as TitleID, you can search your game's on Google
    10. Once you're done Make your PKG, sign it with PS3xploit Resigner and put the result on your FAT32 usb
    11. Now download PS2 Placeholder R3 pkg : https://store.brewology.com/get/homebrew.php?id=232&fid=947
    12. You will also need to get the rap file for it (2P0001-PS2U10000_00-0000111122223333.rap)
    13. Sign the rap file with rifgen so you could get a rif
    14. Inject the rif file to your PS3 either with the HEN exploit,either with this method : http://www.psx-place.com/threads/tu...iles-second-method-make-c00-games-work.16692/
    15. Install the Placeholder and the game
    16. Enjoy.


    PS : If it doesn't work, try to not sign the ISO.BIN.ENC but the PKG File instead
    (Note : you need to install the Placeholder only once)

    1. Get your PSP ISO
    2. Open PSP2PS3 Gui
    3. Select your iso
    4. Pick "Options"
    5. Let everything as it is (PSP Remaster)
    6. Convert
    7. Sign the obtained PKG with PS3xploit_resigner
    8. Install the PKG on your PS3
    9. Enjoy


If you get the 80029567 error, just enable "debug PKGs"

I tried the method explained for Psx but i get stuck at step 12, resigning de eboot, when i try to do it it gives me an error saying "no valid option or valid file provided" any help?
 
Has someone run a psp game? I have 6 games and they all end up in black screen
Some solution or is totally normal

I could run Castlevania X Chronicles with the few issues mentionned here. You shoould try a game mentionned as working in this list to be sure you're doing everything correctly - even they are very few chances to do something wrong.
 
I try to install a PSX game and it stays in "Please wait" I followed the steps of the tutorial to convert the games and nothing to the letter.
