PS3 [Tutorial] How to enable HAN offline

Q. How i can inject this file to ps3 please ? I try to use pett from ps3xploit but there is not that destinaton in pett ?
this can be done manually with PETT using the read/write file chain, entering the home path, "/dev_hdd0/home/[USER_ID_HERE]/webbrowser/bookmark.xml" into the destination directory and source as something like /dev_usb000/bookmark.xml

this is about the easiest way to do it without anyone making any new tools

EDIT:
you could also modify, lets say, the v3 XML Replacer to change the destination path to the hdd bookmark xml path, and change input or add new dropdown item...but thats not actually for beginners lol :)

After heavily optimizing the script, I'm happy to say I managed to fit everything within a single bookmark! Updated the OP with the new script, enjoy!

Could u help us to make another Bookmark for Enable debug Pkg please. if u have free time because we use it to enable debug pkg ps3 game to decrease time to convert debug pkg to han Pkg. Thanks.

Just tested enabling HAN offline through HAN Toolbox, works fine. Can't attach the PKG file to the OP though, any help?

Thanks for your suggestion. I can't guarantee anything but I may do it when I'm not busy with other things.

yeah, great work dude! this method is very interesting. as @bguerville said, we have an offline method that we are testing, but the bookmark idea actually plays well with our method, i think.

that being said, i believe your bookmark method may able to be incorporated in official tools down the road, after talking it over with others and crediting you, of course, officially :)

other team members can chime in lol

good things are coming :D

Thanks for your kind words man. It would be great to see this added to the collection of official HAN tools.

upload to mediafire or something and use one of the forum tricks to post a link ;)

like m e d i a fir e [ dot] com $LASH something or something

@lmn7
What kind of pkg are you trying to post?
If it's too big it won't be allowed you need admin to approve eventually.
Use a file hosting site temporarily & post the link. You don't need to put spaces in the url, you should have sufficient permissions to post this type of content.

I'd rather just attach it to the OP, but if I can't get it working then I'll do that.

It's just a 100KB PKG file. It doesn't really give me any information when I try to upload it, just some generic error message like "upload failed". Might be unrelated, but I keep getting logged out whenever I browse to a new page. Very annoying to say the least.

not sure..as this weighs in at 1.78MB and uploaded fine with Upload option as a test

He edited the code, removed now unused stuff & applied an obfuscator to reduce its size. The code being obfuscated is mostly unreadable but much smaller.

Kudos for making this man. Was never able to get the normal offline enabler to work through PKG linker without having to have at least my computer connected to the internet. Probably something to do with the IP's (my main laptop's IP changes from time to time.) and other devices on my network.

I installed the pkg, and it works great. Enables HAN offline!
