Hi guys

Hi Aldo

I use webMAN MOD 1.45.10 which is really more stable, without bugs, my ps3 no longer crashes and no BAD REQUEST (great work @aldostools and thank you very much) but the inconvenience with this last version is when we disable The syscalls we can not load the game and we are forced to restart the PS3 to change the game, this was not the case in previous versions.

I understand that this makes webMAN MOD more stealth by disabling all syscalls, but @aldostools would it be possible to add in the next version of webMAN MOD a shortcut joypad to re-enable syscalls? It would be more convenient than restarting the PS3.

Thank you for everything you do and good continuation

Excuse me for my English I use google translate

In wMM 1.45.10 the syscall 8 (COBRA+PS3MAPI) is disabled by default when :but r2:+:but tri: is used.
This was done to mimic the way psnpatch disables the syscalls, which is safer to access PSN.

If you want to continue using the old behavior (syscall 8 partially disabled) which allows to keep using webMAN features and re-enable syscalls without have to reboot, go to /setup.ps3, scroll to the bottom of the page and select PS3MAPI: ENABLED (next to the combo :but r2:+:but tri:) and save the settings. Restart the console if needed.

With SEN_Enabler plugin, when I execulto delete historical files, even the webmaan data in the mod browser are deleted all ok, but if you attempt to erase the history with psnpatch plugin or mod webmaan, webmaan history is in the browser

Could you explain your issue with an example?

Currently webMAN MOD is deleting only the following history files:
For all folders in /dev_hdd0/home, the following files are deleted:
/dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/etc/boot_history.dat
/dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/etc/community/CI.TMP
/dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/community/MI.TMP
/dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/community/PTL.TMP

And these:
/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/game.dat
/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/patch.dat

Those per-profile history files are per profile, so if you have two profiles to manage your tasks, you can leave your clean history as is (which is expected for SONY to look at as OFW profiles are expected to be seen if they are free enough to look at unless they were asked to due to user reports being sent by angry users who had bad time with shitty online modders)

no netserver support=less chance of getting banned
rebug lite edition is nice for this

I don't see how rebug lite edition is safer.

All CFWs are vulnerable, except rebug ones (including lite) are easier to detect.

And Especially DEX CFWs IMO are the most dangerous due to those converted fake EID.

if connected to webman mod directly thats true

Other than vsh plugins (webMAN and etc) there are many many ways for SONY to look at what we are doing. The easiest one IMO is VSH itself and Certificates which they never bothered to look at since that OFW spoofers blocked (which allowed ODE users to go online while on 4.53)

It's pointless to discuss how safe it is to go online without any proof.

I used to do a lot of research towards PSN but lost interests since I started messing with firmware modification.

ODE was just abusing virtual bluray drive
syscall36 before ode was a thing it was already live on irisman 3.56

Yes, I've been doing this, I leave a clean profile, it's just a concern, maybe the games servers can identify this

history kept cuz of webman url launcher. i know what joonie is pointing at and is a obvious red flag . look up webman mod as the src code is freely available. will find some interesting fixes to problems
once checked the auth module. =screwed. .

they can all ur games are launched from webman url launcher
appid is also checked .you may not be cheating or doing anything stupid online but the history is dead giveaway to launch and if the game is being launched directly from physical disc or already copied to hdd

I could add a feature to make wMM also delete /dev_hdd0/home/0000000x/webbrowser/history.xml in all profiles. But honestly I don't think it is necessary, unless that file is being sent to Sony when you access PSN.

If you want to clear or get rid of that file, you can make a combo to delete the history.xml or better do what Joonie suggests (use a separated profile for access PSN).

I just tested mounting a couple of games I don't have that trace in my history when I use XMB.
Are you using the PS3 browser to mount your games?

If your concern is that games could read that file to detect the usage of CFW, there are easier ways to detect it. e.g. Check /dev_flash/rebug, /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp and many other non official files created by CFW devs, homebrew devs or CFW modders.

I'm not using the browser to mount games
Thank you @aldostools and @Joonie for the clarifications
