PS4 WARNING - - - PS4 2.50 CFW Claims

With all the positives coming from the PS4 hacking scene there is the unfortunate side of some negative stories or i should say what most likely appears to be a scam and i would personally proceed with alot of caution. There is a rumor that is circulating through various scene sites of a team that has a CFW for PS4 and also the same team is said to have a downgrade device in the works as well, this is highly unlikely and this team of unknowns does not give ANY information or any Proof of Concept to prove they have accomplished this. Since the original announcement that surfaced, the team has since said they will not release a CFW but are working on the Downgrade Device and are taking pre-orders. This very unethical to try and take pro-orders on something if you have not shown or even detailed anything yet pertaining to the device, which raises a few red flags in my view and provides a bit of motive for the claims if foul play is in play. I personally do not even want to list this site as i do not want to take part in promoting this website, as i feel with the details presented at this time and how things are presented that this is a scam in order to rip people off of pre-orders sales on a device that does most likely does not exist.

I do not promote or link to what i believe are scam sites:
but DO NOT ORDER THIS: Always wait for information in this case i doubt we see it .

Lets try and keep on topic as i never do like talking about someone after they have been banned. Never thought it was right when i seen it done by others (on other sites) and something i think is best just left alone after a ban. I appreciate everyone's support but lets just focus on the warning and not the distraction .
.

You did indeed inform your users without promoting the site in question, at least before the obvious edit was made, yet you still allowed them to be informed by the use of the pictures you included. What question do you have for me?

I am considerably a noobie when it comes to the PS4 community and when I read this post I took it as "do not fall for this scam". So there is proof right there that the poster did their job.

Including the photos also gave me a visual and removed the unknown factors to me stumbling on this.

I work in IT and when claiming something is a fraud, we include photos to show the user what is a fraudulent device.

I see no harm in this and this arguments feels blown out of proportion. Let's all just cool down and be happy that at least one less person was informed to be careful.

I think kozarovv posted a link to them saying that because their website was hacked they wouldn't be releasing the cfw. lol! an excuse to dismiss their non-release. for the time being, I think we'll have to settle for linux only which might be the best we could hope for. it would be amazing if backups worked but also sad considering backups can't even be played on the vita to this day.

They brought it back then claimed Sony took some legal action and made them remove stuff. All BS fake to get peoples money on that fake device.

Whole thing sounds like a scam to me, come on pre-order a device that isn't even shown or know to even be real. LOL sounds like a sucker born every minute version of a "Kickstarter" Old Bumquist starting trouble about post again I see, tisk, tisk(look of disapproval). The Information should be posted. Informing the viewers of all things related to subject including breaking info and possible threats is a good thing. Keep up the good work guys love your site as always.

Same old same old...
With yet another scam...

And more unnecessary outbursts..

Warning noobs about scams IS part of the job because in the end, if there weren't so many people falling for it, those scams would not exist. Who would bother with them?
@STLcardsWS did the job as far as I can tell.
