PS3 webMAN MOD 1.47.06: Plugin now Supports 4.82 CFW CEX

Following the update to backup manager IRISMAN developer @aldostools also recently updated webMAN MOD, this popular PS3 plugin is a manager but in plugin form. It contains many and also different functions then some of the homebrew apps that are managers such as the mentioned IRISMAN, multiMAN (by @deank) or ManaGunZ (by @Zar). This plugin is small in size but packs a powerful punch with a huge list of features and honestly this does not touch all the features for the plugin. Its a great piece of software for your Homebrew Enabled Console. Additional details about webMAN MOD can be seen in the webMAN MOD forum here in the psx-place forum >> Link

there's no way currently to launch ps2 and psp iso's from nffs, only from internal hdd.

He not asking about launching....He is asking why the PS2 ISO is not loading the data from his ntfs drive PS2ISO folder , which then displays the content in webman .
I have this same problem......I am running Rebug 4.81.2_REX... So I suspect that may be the problem.?

Regards,

I am having issues mounting PS2 ISO files. I have them in \PS2ISO on my NTFS drive, but WebMan MOD doesn't list any of them in its XMB folder. It successfully displays the games in the \PS3ISO folder.

Try moving all your PS2 *.iso to /PS2ISO without subfolders. Then run prepNTFS.

If it still doesn't show the content, check in /setup.ps3 that PS2 content is allowed. Save the settings and scan again.
(These options are hidden/collapsed in the form; click on "Scan for content" to show the options)

After running prepNTFS the PS2 ISO show up, but when I press X on any of them the hard drive powers down and I can't mount anything any longer until the next reboot.

After fresh install 4.81 habib from 3.55 ofw, restoring system, installing latest webman mod and uploading just a single game, this bug is still here...

I think there is a problem with webman mod. When i install the full edition holding L1, the webman setup option does not appear. That problem not occurs when i install the lite edition holding the X button.

I already tried older versions of this plugin and that problem with full edition is always there.

Anyboby know how to fix this problem?

@aldostools do you or anybody, would have an idea why my FTP transfer speed gets cuts dramatically when using wMM?

When i use the built in webman thats in rebug 4.81.2 i get about 12MB/s transfer speed, but when I turn off wM in the rebug toolbox, then reboot and install wMM (full version) it slows down to about 2mb/s! big difference.

This i've tried different files , and have experimented with 2 different ps's...both slims, results are always the same wMM slows down the Xfer speed down to 2MB/s ... and when I take all the steps and fully delete wMM and then re-activate the stock wM that comes with rebug , once again im back at about 12MB/s........ any thoughts on what this could be?

The main reason why Rebug Toolbox's FTP is faster is because it uses asynchronous file I/O (cellFsAioWrite / cellFsAioRead), while webMAN's FTP uses synchronous file I/O. In other words, in Rebug Toolbox the data received / transmitted don't have to wait for the data to be written.

A second reason is the priority of the ftp thread. It is intentionally low, to prevent that webMAN compete with other threads running in the console. This is specially more sensitive playing games. The goal of wMM's ftp is to let you play games or watch movies as the main task, while the files are transferred in background.

@aldostools Is there such a possibility? Would you be able to integrate PSP Launcher [Official by COBRA] to webman mod? So that the games will mount like ps3, ps2, psx, and not directly from the application in xmb.

I've still got 2 very annoying issues:
1. No picture and sound after mounting ISO (tried different firmwares, full, lite editions, disabled scan etc) and it still here. ALWAYS
2. Why Game name and icons settings living by their own? no matter how you change it it shows iso name instead of real game name ( but sometimes its okay but not for all games) and icon settings the same
thanks

1. wMM's setup has the option "No SND0.AT3" on mounted games. If that option is enabled, the sound is muted

Also VSH free memory is very limited. If size of SND0.AT3 + ICON1.PAM is higher than 2.4MB, they cannot be played. That free memory is even more critical when VSH or wMM are also doing background tasks, like scanning content or serving FTP or web commands.

2. In /setup.ps3 there is an option "PARAM.SFO" next to "Include the ID as part of the title of the game" and it allows to use the file/folder name instead of the real name of the game. Try toggling that option, save and rescan the content.

@aldostools One thing that i always forget to tell you is that sMan GUI even disabled sometimes works, i don even know its combo since i think its ugly and less efficient, but since it was implemented sometimes i'm at xmb doing somethings and it toggles it self.
(its not a big problem, but i think it eats resources)

And please consider Sub-categories in Retro Roms folder :P i got a lot and its a pain to scroll down until i can reach the right RETRO CONSOLE, even if less roms, it would be better to categorize them, to see the file extension of each file and categorize

Or like it reads the folder name and put a / with the rom name

it cold show the folders instead and the all the roms inside

Hey @aldostools, I can't get XMB screenshot to work. None of these work:
Code:
http://myps3/browser.ps3$screenshot_xmb
http://myps3/browser.ps3$screenshot_xmb/dev_hdd0/screenshot.bmp
I shows the notification on PS3, but no file gets created.
