Re-scanning XML and restarting the console doesn't help for the usual unmounting method (through "My Games") <-- still freezes.

The one using the shortcut (thx for da hint) is working (after a game was mounted through mmCM).

I'll try to check this issue when I get some free time... Maybe in the weekend.

@aldostools i still hope for a RETRO folder categories (snes,gba etc), its a mess to choose a rom with like 50 games

Do not expect that feature from me... The other day I was analyzing the changes required and I concluded that it's too hard to implement the sub-folders to the current code of wMM.

The ROMS folder was basically a PoC and was intended to list only a few games (favorites). It was not intended to list full lists of roms. For that we have RetroArch's GUI.

Various performance- and stability-updates... Nah... That was something else! :rolleyes:

THX for the update!

Forgive my ignorance if this has been asked before but is there a technical limitation stopping webman from just displaying the cue file for ps1 games or just the first bin file? Some of my ps1 games have like 20 tracks and it would just look neater if they were only displayed once.

You should use a tool like DAEMON TOOLS to mount the game .cue and re-rip the game into a single .bin file. Games will play better with single .bin backups (in my experience on a hardware BC console).

Installed Webman mod, created the ROMS folder on my usb hdd and internal hdd, for the life of me, webman doesnt show the roms folder, any ideas why?

You must install PKGLAUNCH (github(dot)com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases), tick ROMS in webMAN setup, save, retart then refresh XML.

Today I had the chance to reproduce this issue... and you're right, the XMB freezes unmounting a game mounted with mmCM or multiMAN. However, the issue doesn't happen if the game is mounted with IRISMAN or webMAN MOD.

So it seems that mmCM is patching something in memory that cause the freeze when the XMB proxy is called. The freeze also happens with "Toggle external gameDATA".

Honestly I don't know how to fix that... maybe @deank could give a hint ;)

hi there guys!
just one question, i saw now idps is hidden now in webman mod, any chance to add dump idps.bin?... i know making that a pc file server *works", but not with me! :p

Yes this freeze / issue is really bad.
I have tested to unmount a game (through wMM, "My Games"), which was before mounted through mmCM / multiMAN.
- wMM XMB-Proxy (idle_plugin): --> XMB freezes.
- wMM XMB-Proxy (eula_cddb_plugin): --> Not possible, nothing happens.

With wMM XMB-Proxy (bdp_disccheck_plugin) there was another issue --> Starting a Blu-Ray-Disk not possible.
That's why Aldos has returned back to the idle_plugin.

@aldostools
I will post this issue in a mmCM / multiMAN thread, but I am thinking Deank will not have time...

I don't know if it is just me but when choose "Refresh My Games" PS3 freezes and I need to restart it.

@aldostools I wonder can str viewer plugin be used. As that is not used for anything else really it might be a good candidate..

I don't know... but you can try yourself compiling webMAN MOD.
Just need to edit the 3rd line of flags.h (change "idle_plugin" to "strviewer_plugin" ??)
#define WM_PROXY_SPRX "idle_plugin"

Also need to replace "idle_plugin" in webMAN.xml (and the translated files webMAN_??.xml)

I am interested in "strviewer_plugin" too.
When one of you can make a ready PKG, I can make / reproduce tests...

@aldostools
Why sman gui does not load correctly?
Via settings in xmb is ok
1.jpg

but via e.g temperature, game list, or other xmb wmm function not, like this; eg. different font
2.jpg

sman gui it loads correctly and looks good only when the setting is enabled from xmb, the composition is broken from other functions.

What do you think of the possibility of adding a multilanguage sman gui?

I believe the localization of sman would almost be larger than the app itself. It would definitely effect the performance of the executable. I'm thinking that is why the multi language hasn't been added.

Hi, my PS3ISOs are not detected on the network when using ps3netsrv (both the latest version compiled under linux and the included old binary). When trying to mount the ISO using the file manager in Webman MOD I get a HTTP 400 error message and the browser freezes (it has to be refreshed/closed). Do you have any suggestion how this can be fixed?

Hi. I recently updated from rebug 4.78 ...
to rebug 4.82, and everything was OK but integrated webman was now NOT WORKING at all.
It worked perfectly before and i had 1.41 from a 2016 update i did.

So as webman now not working at all i tried the usual things like checking cobra was enabled etc,....
Tried enabling cobra thru rebug, thru irisman etc,
still webman would not load up on reboot.....
tried installing webman mod latest 1.47 ...
and it then now worked to load up games,
but it in general "half worked" as loading games is all i could do,
and it was appearing to be "a mashup of my old webman 1.41 and the latest 1.47"... (displayed version of webman was still 1.41)
some things like the prepntfs etc the icons wouldnt display,
and just kept showing a spinning circle indefinately for all options on that particular screen.

I tried to update it back to 1.41 as i had a stable old version .pkg of 1.41...
and it then caused my whole ps3 to freeze everytime !!! at the start of xmb loading after about 10 seconds.

I am quite devastated as i have never had a problem updating & had a perfectly stable working jail breaked system, so now i cant even boot up my ps3 at all :(
I was enjoying it for 3 years, only twice ever updating firmware so i could get on psn basically,
and was very happy when webman was integrated in 2016.
I hope to chat extensively about this issue,
and hope i can resolve it, as i have all my gamesaves and had just spent 6 months installing .pkg games on internal,
and my whole system is not backed up, i dont know if i even got the eid root key :(

SO NOW i have a ps3 that won't load up, freezes at start,
and even in safe mode, freezes after about 10 sec into performing any option.
Even system update via usb in safe mode froze after 10sec.
Only one option had a spinning circle,
i think the restore file system (sorry... was a few nights ago now!)
but i left it for about 20 hours and there was no hdd flashing or anything happening.

The last thing i tried was updating thru safe mode, but just froze.

I've tried everything i can think of currently with exception of trying to access the HDD somehow and back it up OR fix it.
Hoping someone knows a way to fix this, or access the hdd so i can backup gamesaves etc,
or some way to "flash - or update" new firmware (or different types of firmware than rebug) on to it.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP FIX THIS I WILL BE GRATEFUL! Cheers
