You are completely right, it's a shame that genps3iso is still closed source. It's the case for a few other brews or dev apps for windows... What's the point by now I wonder.
Anyway yes maybe Joonie can help with the DEX kernel issues on Rebug 4.75.3.

No Joonie, what I am saying is this.I don't understand what your issue is, Are you saying webMAN does not work on DEX mode?
No Joonie, what I am saying is this.
Am on DEX 4.75.3, all settings in Rebug Toolbox on DEX & TargetID rewritten to DEX.
If I use the CEX kernel, I have absolutely no problems however as soon as I swap to DEX kernel (using the Toolbox), after reboot there are anomalies such as:
1. Plugin startup notifications not displayed (even though the plugins are loaded & functional)
2. wMM Dynamic fan control looks like it's working in cpursx page but the fan stays idle even when the temperature reaches syscon max level.
3. Movian starts but crashes when I open a movie.
There might be more than this but this is what I have noticed in the little time I had.

That's the thing, I don't remember having these problems with wMM before the most recent versions..Weird, I don't think I had a problem like that before? does that happen on stock condition too? or this all happened after webMAN update?

With Movian, I have had this problem with DEX for a while. Maybe I should test older CEX & DEX showtime packages. Same goes with wMM I suppose.

Remember a little while ago, you told me to reinstall the movian pkg after I told you about the problems I experienced while in DEX.my CECHA01 is on 4.75.3 DEX mode, and I use movian everyday, just finished watching Starwars ep1~6, and I don't understand what issue you're dealing with.
My wMM is currently on 1.43.13 though.
Remember a little while ago, you told me to reinstall the movian pkg after I told you about the problems I experienced while in DEX.
I did so. Deleted the movian installation, reinstalled it all but no changes, If I use the DEX kernel, as soon as a movie starts (decoding launches), there is a 50-50 chance that Movian crashes immediately & shuts down. Restarting movian after such a crash & trying to play the same movie again, always leads to the exact same crash....
Sometimes it works but more often than not, it crashes.
I use Movian everyday so recently I have had to return to CEX kernel & only swap to DEX kernel when needed. Not a huge problem really however I do not understand...
About wMM, let me install 1.43.13 like you & try. I'll report after.

So, the isos seem fine if they work with Irisman.Okay, so I've done a little more testing with my drive along with my ISOs. I still get my ISOs recognized from NTFS on my 2 TB drive using webMAN. The games still give error! message when launching them from either xmb or from web browser.
Now on to the positive part of this equation I'm trying to get solved. I take the suggestion to launch IRISMAN 3.50.5 and try to run my ISOs from the 2TB NTFS drive. The ending results come back positive. It mounts the game and takes me back to xmb.
I then proceed to see the disc icon in xmb with the current title I am going to launch. I launch the game and wait a few seconds to see that the game does indeed load the ISO from the NTFS 2TB drive.
I was using genps3iso 2.5, webMAN 1.46.18, REBUG 4.76.1 LITE, IRISMAN 3.50.5.
Well right enough, I did update the Cobra files to 7.2 manually but I fail to see what I could have done wrong... I used the right files...I think your cobra is disabled on dex mode, perhaps you tried updating payload by yourself manually, that explains why prx loading doesn't work I assume, check your dev_flash/rebug/cobra/

I have had this exact same problem several times before with isos on my NTFS drive. It was caused every time by corrupted .ntfs "link" files to games.Okay, so I tested the idea of an ISO from /dev0_hdd/PS3ISO and it works using webMAN 1.46.18.
The error I would get from launching an ISO from my 2 TB external hdd would be something along the lines of "Error! dev0_hdd/tmp/wmtmp/BLESXXXXX-TITLE.ntfs[PS3ISO]"
That's very strange.I deleted from the wmtmp to start fresh and ran prep ntfs 1.12. It still gives "error!" from xmb using webMAN for the NTFS 2TB drive.
