webMAN MOD

PS3 webMAN MOD - General Information Thread 1.47.48q

Please help me.
After install webMAN_MOD_1.47.36_Installer.pkg on my PS3 Slim CFW 4.75 . Every time I enter on webMAN_MOD icon in XMB, the system always restart, then nothing happen.
Someone can tell me I miss something while install process? Many thanks
Are you selecting webMAN Games on the XMB, or are you launching the installer from the PlayStation3 folder where PS3 games from PSN are also stored (if you have content sorted that way)?

If you're running the installer, the PS3 will restart as you are just reinstalling webMAN MOD each time. webMAN MOD is a plugin that is launched automatically when booting, and you can access games, settings etc. from webMAN Games 'folder' on the XMB under the Game column.

That is normal, the pkg you installed is just an installer for the plugin. You can remove the installer after you have ran it once. From then on the webman mod plugin will run in the background. You can access its features via the webman games folder or via other web browsers on your LAN.

Just type the IP address of your PS3 into a web browser on your PC or phone. like http://192.168.0.100 or whatever it is.

Thanks bros for your quick reply, because I'm a newbie of PS3, now I just try to do for play PS2 game on PS3 console, I learn slowly step by step but sometime it's not work.

Now I can play PS2 but in Webman games folder still empty. I'd only way play in Multiman/Retro, that's enough for me.

But if you can tell me how to install fully Webman program in PS3, I'm so gratitude

Thanks again & wishes you healthy, happy

Is there anyway to change what port webMAN MOD uses, or disable the web server, without disabling the extremely useful FTP feature? I have a few games with integrated debug features which are made inaccessible when using webMAN MOD as it forces the webMAN webpage to show whenever I type in the PS3 IP.

No, you can't disable the web server or change the default port 80.
It is a core service used for almost everything in webMAN.

You can disable remote access to FTP/WWW services and limit the access to a single IP address.

The FTP can be disabled or the port can be changed.

Enabling `Disable remote access to FTP/WWW services` had no effect, and I was able to access wMAN from my PC browser with it enabled.

PS3 is always allowed.

which option does webman unboot games?
whenever I choose a game, it goes straight in
Look at this issue I opened: https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/issues/531. Aldo made a workaround by adding a way to disable auto-mount by holding x (you need to leave the PLAY DISC combo unchecked in wMM setup). Didn't think other people had the same problem since the issue didn't get any feedback.

If the option Auto-Play is checked in /setup.ps3, the game is launched when it is mounted through XMB.

If the option Auto-Play is unchecked, the game is auto-launched only if the user holds X pressed.

If the combo PLAY DISC is unchecked, the auto-play pressing X is disabled.

If the combo PLAY DISC is checked, following combos are enabled:
L2+START = Launch disc icon
R2+START = Launch app_home/PS3_GAME
