Welcome to the New Experience @ PSX-Place !!!

Right away you should notice improvements. The forum now has a cleaner, more modern design that's easier to read and navigate. The site has upgraded to the latest software and technologies! We have added various new sections and features to enchance the experience here at psx-place.

A few of those additions include the new "Media" & "Wiki" sections of the site. There is also a new Featured Content page, this page differs from the mainpage and will serve as a secondary page to news article's. Instead the "Featured Content" page will feature various interesting, topics from the forum, new downloads, Guides, Videos and More. Giving coverage a bit more flexibility.

With this upgrade alot of new changes and features have been implemented. A bit of the new functionality in PSX-Place (v3) are outlined in the log provided below, if you see any issue please report them in this thread or to an Admin.

Hi there! Got an issue which prevents me from accessing the site unless I use a VPN. If I try accessing the site without a VPN, I get blocked by Cloudflare.

Also how do I get "approved". I've been stuck in the starting line since I made my account.

Well done guys! I was scared for a little bit here. BTW, have you ever considered using Invision Community instead of Xenforo? Why not?

Seems like so, I tried setting my UK to VPN and I got the error, switching to Poland worked.

But then @bucanero who is located in Argentina is also having this issue.. so can't be UK OSA bullsh*t

Regarding "The Starting Line" its all explained there (in a Sticky and in a Notice) in that forum.

No that is not the intention. We are looking into it, should be resolved soon.

Only fault I see at the moment is that I do not have permission to view the Wiki page, though I am sure that is something minor.

@Impaler as someone who used Invision for a while, I can say it is nowhere near as good as Xenforo, I wish I had gone for Xenforo, but as PSX-HaX was using it I didn't want to use it and passed on vBulletin as that is what PS3HaX was using.

Wiki, That section is empty currently and under construction.
Didn't want to hold up the site re-opening just for that, but wanted to get it installed and ready

I actually just sent a message to him and tranced yesterday to see if they had their ears on.

 

Celebration good times, glad to be back on the one and only PSX-place. I have to admit I thought my browser was an issue till I finally saw the maintenance message, but so happy this scene is still alive and well. There's no other place for information than here.

 

Just wanted to say congratulations on the new look of the site. The redesign looks modern, clean, and much more polished while still keeping the classic PSX-Place feel. Navigation feels smoother and the overall experience is great.

Thank you for all the work and effort you put into improving the community and keeping the scene alive. The new changes look fantastic. Keep up the great work!

While I'm not a fan of forum theme (sorry :P), definitely control of user over text formatting etc. highly improved. If may I suggest something, is adding *.md mask for attachments.

BTW: Plenty of people from around complains about site access. Eg. from Brazil. Can you do something with that?

I hope it gets solved soon, I'm still unable to access if I use my regular internet provider. Only with a VPN with USA region I can browse.

I also tried using a different provider, the Starlink connection and I'm also blocked. Maybe all traffic from Argentina is blocked?

 

New and luxurious house!

It turned out fantastic, congratulations to everyone involved.

I also had a problem with the lock, but it fixed itself after a few hours.

 

I like the new layout of this website, although I noticed when looking on my phone, the "Latest Posts" seems to be way too short in length. If it was a little bit longer, then I won't have complaints.

Since there is the What's New section, i went with a smaller one in the main forum
Also when you click on the text title "Latest Post" it will take you to an expanded list as well

Should be fixed for most, i know Brazil has reported success.

Most have been resolved, Argentina could be one of the problem one still, but we are looking into it along with a few other regions that are still giving some issues. Update (Argentina fixed)
