What can I currently do with this setup?

And for that matter, WHAT should I do? I have a Super Slim PS3, and the last thing I remember is installing HFW on it, but I don't remember exactly what I did on it last. How can I check? I need to know so someone can help me/advise me on what to do next.

I'm trying to update HAN (HEN?), but every time I try to Enable HAN, it freezes the console. I'm currently on 4.85 HFW. Any ideas how I can fix this?

For your case, I would recommend you to do a new clean and fresh install of HFW. After that proceed over to these instructions to install HEN:
