PS3 What temperatures are good for CECHA models?

Currently floating at around 75 on CPU and 63 on RSX after a good 30 min game. Currently my fan control is just set to Syscon.

What are okay temps for you all, and what fan settings do you usually leave your PS3 at?

I can't say for sure with that model, but u can kinda tell the normal temps...at least the difference between cpu and rsx based on the chip size. if the cpu is larger, it's going to give off more heat, so those temps may be normal. u can find the chip size for that model on psdevwiki. I personally have temp thresholds set at 65 degrees C. which is around 150 degrees F I believe. mid to upper 70s is normal for most systems while running a game. I'd be concerned if it hits 80 or more though. I'd suggest having temp thresholds around what I put mine. it might get a little noisy, but u don't want the console to overheat.

That seems normal to me, both of my E01 and A01 have that much of temps

thanks for the inputs! is there a plugin where it shows you the temperature real time? the only way i could measure right now is by exiting a game and going to webman's page.

If you hold select and start for 3-5 secs while using webman MOD, the pop up will stay on

Seems to work great, but it doesn't work while playing PS2 games. Haven't tried using PS3 games, only tried it in the XMB. Do you know if there's another plugin that works for PS2 games?

there's a ps2_netemu.self on the boards somewhere that does what u want. it's by @3141card . it will show the temp in the top left corner of the screen whenever u try to exit.
