You can patch your CFW so it will install on consoles with mssing BD drives or BT modules. See this thread for more info http://www.psx-place.com/threads/rebug-4-81-2-rex_nobt.12751/ If you are on 4.82 after doing the exploit, you will need 4.82 patched, as lower will not install, until you are QA flagged.Well the used ps3 I just got in the mail from ebay...has error: 8002F1F9 when trying to update the firmware. Guessing it's the bluetooth or network chipset I guess. I guess if it seems to good to be true....it probably is...
Try to format the HDD using a PC (or try a spare HDD if you have) the file format doesn't matter since the ps3 will force format afterwards.
Try with another cfw. If it still not work make a dump and check if it's properly patched. If not patched properly reinstall ofw twice and retry exploit
the temps shouldn't be that far apart. 140-150 is optimal on the xmb.
Install webman mod or sman and ajust fan speed higher. It will not fix your ps3 and the fan will be loud but the ps3 will not dieCPU is at 177F
