PS3 Which is the best way to install PKGs from external NTFS hard drive?

If you look at the post the post i quoted you in at the pic, there is all sorts out of place, the feed in the smilies box???? somethings not right. I got peoples pics not showing up, like something in the site script is. quotes not working, only the reply button. when i click on your pic in the side section on your posts it show's as soul blade put not on your posts lol.

If you look at the pic in my previous post you will see the feed pics in the smilies box.

Something definitely isn't right. I definitely didn't put a clergyman as my avatar. If I put anything Durham related it'd probably be the Neville coat of arms or something like that :D. I wonder if @STLcardsWS can shed any light on this oddity?

Only one thing springs to mind if you didn't change your avatar, your proper one does when you click on it and that would magic, but i doubt it.

here it is side by side when you click on it.

you can clearly see the difference. your avatar doesn't simple change and impose another one over the top of it. not one so specific to where we are from.

EDIT: i think its more likely some has been at your computer when you haven't been looking and changed it, and with the glitches on the site it hasn't update properly. Any the practical joker living with you.

EDIT2: Back to normal now Arch bishop @Coldheart2236 :D:D:D though I was quite enjoying watching the feed from the smiley's box lol... WTF am confused.com

It's weird that it was such a specific avatar to change to, but I'm 100% certain nobody's been on my PC but me and I'm 110% I didn't change it lol. If anybody else had accessed my account somehow they'd probably change the password or cause some other hassle for me. As it stands, I think it's just an incredibly coincidental (to say the least) bug of some kind. :confused:

Nothing wrong over here, if other aspects of the site were not displaying or looking right.
I think the source of the issues is a bad page load or a bad snapshot from cloudfare.

There was no signs/changes of anything on our end.
 
Thank you very much for your quick and detailed answers. I could run PKGs externally (without installing it on the internal HDD) by fakeISOs method with Webman and PrepNTFS that @aldostools mentioned. It requires enabling some more options, but it is as convenient as installing the PKGs of an external FAT32 HDD. In the end, you save all the time of the split of + 4GB files. In case it helps, my external HDD is an ADATA HD720 of 1 TB (formatted in NTFS MBR as a primary unit) and I used the latest version of WebmanMod and PrepNTFS 1.19 in Ferrox 4.83.

What ever it was it stopped now, just found it really odd the things that were happening, the pics in the spoilers of my previous posts were totally bizarre, the news feed in the smiley box, but the most bizarre was @Coldheart2236 apparent profile pic change, that pic was too specific to where we are both from, there's probably less than 20 miles between us.

Was absolutely baffled by it. What it looked like from my end was an overlay hack, where one thing is imposed over the other (real) thing. It had me checking my network, but no network intrusions where detected and I can monitor all inbound and outbound traffic on my desk top in real time, and it picks up on data piggybacking and bandwidth piggybacking. The other thing i though was some Muppet was trying to DDOS me. Good luck... I had a friend set up a little trap for network intrusions.....

Very strange..... anyways whatever it was it isn't doing it anymore....

As you can tell by my instant paranoia.... :D but i have been hacked before and it was by using a screen overlay, so i can get super defensive by the daftest of thing's at times.
I hope they liked the worm cluster they got for doing so.....:rolling:
