First time I've come across these homebrew games. 3 of them work and are fun and addictive little gamesunfortunately, for me Cascade Beneath does not work (launches then returns to XMB
) and UFO Racer I get a start operation error (80028F21). I'm on 4.84 so could it be a firmware issue as they were made for older versions?
It matters for disc based games (as I said, "when launching a backup game"That should not matter in all honesty.

Installed the updated versions of Cascade Beneath and UFO Racer that you attached and they both work fine.Try these the UFO Racer here in our resource section must of errored on upload is much smaller then what it really is. So grabbed the one from brewology. Resigned it not sure if that one there was for 4.xx
Let me know if these work or anyone reading. will add them to sections here and also at brewology
Also a couple others..
I tried a backup of Wolfenstein I made off of my own disc with MultiMAN and it didn't work until I updated itNot when launching a game on PS3HEN from a backup manager in JB (folder) format.
If this helps its something new to me, but has never been the case since 2012 (with folder format games and homebrew launching them).. The only thing an update would do is fix a bad eboot, one that was modified and if it was modified well that is the issue.
Haha sure!@habib I know you been looking into this since it dropped,
You mind telling our user's what is the difference between PS3HEN and CFW..
Basically, What we can do on CFW but not on PS3HEN yet.
I think it would be best to come from an experienced dev like yourself

For the links you posted: Hero City 2 kicks back to the XMB followed by the same start operation error I got with the previous version of UFO Racer. SuperPixelJumper and Swingball 2 both work absolutely fine.![]()

Yeah, works great.
Haha sure!
So the limitations of hen:
1.resigning is needed of homebrews!
2.some homebrews need updates to support(READ:Readme)
3.erk dumper or tools such as IDPSet are not possible
4.ps3 iso are not possible
5.(could be fixed with some reversing) NPDRM paid licenses won't work if not signed with HAN key(tools such as reactpsn need update or fix in hen needed)
6.(BUG)since NPDRM paid licenses won't work when HEN enabled(thus HAN with it), original paid content won't work without resign or when hen enabled
7.its just not permenant like CFW
These are all the practical limitations I can think off but besides, it's all great!
Yeah, works great.![]()
Nice, and it works fine as well. This was a fun one as well:

nope. homebrews need to be signed to 3.55 or less. NPDRM still need to have first ecdsa valid. Thanks added it in a newly crafted FaQ section i put on the news coverage.
Now resigning of homebrew you just mean the ones that were never resigned for 4.xx use right?
Nice, and it works fine as well.
Edit: From seeing your PS3 homebrew games source code thread I also tested Neo Tanks from here and Gambol from here and both work fine so don't need to be resigned or anything.
I also tested out Wall Pong from here and Winter's End from here and again both work fine.
