Why not change the title from [Coming Soon???]
to [WIP] and move it from
Home Forums > News Stand > Latest Scene News -> PS2 News
to
Home -> Forums ->PlayStation 2 Forums -> PS2 Homebrew.
If someday XtremeEliteBoot+ will be released, then It'll good time to mention about it in news.
Currently there is too much complaining about ETA.

Looks like blame is shifted on the site here lol? I think that is perfectly valid question to ask (considering the circumstances ). Also
- This news has been de-listed from the mainpage news (and its mainpage PS2 index) for months now It was only viewable by the forum and not the actual news feeds from the sites frontend.
- The name title has been changed before from "Coming Soon" to "Coming Soon???" (When it was de-listed from the news) but there was more updates/video and eta's giving by the dev so it stayed as is.
- i did do what you suggested not that it makes all that much difference,.

Anyway, I think it's already amazing if he can make such a product, given his circumstances. Cuba doesn't seem to have developed network infrastructures for the masses (and it does not seem like he can access the Internet from his home).
Without access to the Internet and even decent equipment (nearly all PS2 homebrew developers will lack any debugging capabilities), it can be challenging to make software properly.

you wanna hear a fishy perspective on why i think hwnj is elsingao
there is a big chance that ElSingao is hwnj i will give you some of the reasons that made me feel like there is something fishy going on.
1.first ElSingao poped out of nowhere he joined the forum 2018 oct 14 and at the exact moment he replied to the xeb+ thread which means he specifically made the account for xeb+.
2.he made another account right the next day 2018 oct 15 at ps2 home to clarify that the project is real but why did he poped out of nowhere in both forums specifically for xeb+ and He also registered at psxtools.de which is a forum that i didnt even know existed the fact that he made all these accounts very quickly shows that its a person who already knows where to go exactly (and i mean that hwnj made all these accounts to do a weird excuse to win some time and drama) a person that is not related to hwnj knew all about these forums this quickly ... hmmmmm ... come on he even writes the same way with elsingao.
3.and the big fishy shit is that at ps2 home here: http://www.ps2-home.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=4346&p=32433&hilit=xeb#p32433 a mod there caught ElSingao using the exact hwnj ip and that is one extreme fishy shit because i am sure that the mod knew that the ElSingao and Hwnj are using the same device.

But an IP address on the Internet, might not be representative of a unique device. It depends on how the service obtained the IP address.
For example, I am behind a transparent proxy, due to my ISP. So some websites than ban my address because of somebody else, end up blocking me too. Websites that track downloaded data by IP addresses, will also fail to work properly for me.
Given that those two were close enough to go over to each other's homes, I don't see why it is entirely not possible for them to get the same address.

No thats not the case he was caught switching accounts and replying with the same ip at the same time in both accounts.
and the big point in my argument is that someone outta nowhere jumps in all these forums very quickly and made accounts on various forums just for xeb how did a random person know all these forums this quickly and made accounts in all these forums that had hwnj and xeb its just obvious to me that elsingao is hwnj because the way that elsingao came to existence is just weird ....
a random person makes accounts at all the forums that hwnj is in in an unreal speed and then decides to meet him and help him in person.... you see how fake elsingao sounds .... and elsingao writes the same way hwnj does..

We had one (IMO interesting) video, a lot of talk and promises and no news yet...
I can relate to the promises tho'... I wanted to make some pictures of my MCs and NWAs and I understand that it gets annoying if you have multiple projects and are working on those.
What I rather find 'fishy' is, that he promised multiple times to release 'something' and then that he would release it 'then and then' with no 'but's + told me he would send me something'... 'over the weekend'... Well... It became a 'looong weekend'!
I don't care that much about his aliases/handles, but rather the project itself...

It's multiple miles (50 or so?), but the IP-Pool of Cuba seems to be quite limited, so the IP probably is no proof for them being the same person (like you said).

here is the thing this project is fishy to the bones and if elsingao was a person (which i belive hwnj made that account) then @ElSinGao has no excuse to disappear just like hwnj all the sudden.
well it does matter because if he did indeed make the other account this means he is a liar therefore we shouldnt waste our time waiting for nothing but a lie.
exactly every year he promise something but gives nothing in the end
