I couldn't do patching the cutscenes and options but it is still better than playing all in Japanese .

I did a localization for a PC port and patching cutscenes wasn't fun but at least it was doable. Could you please explain your reasoning? I might be able to help you

and from what I remember, cutscenes should not require EBOOT modification since they are all located inside auth folder.

I don't know how to thank you but THANK YOU.
My actual problem is my pc didn't show me Japanese characters and i installed language pack after then that still nothing happened so that i gave up .

To read japanese letters in eboot, you should use a hex editor that supports UTF8 encoding, I used 010 which displays UTF8 chars fine.

Hello, i just created an account to thank the OP for its effort on 0 and kiwami. I would really really like if someone took the project from here and finished it, as the cutscenes and menus are really important for me. You see, I was having lots of problems home, and was in the middle of my yakuza 0 and judgement playtrough. I had to sell my ps4 to get some stuff on day, and have no idea about when i'll be able to get a new one. I can think about judgement later, but i have a ps3 and hope i can at least finish 0 with good understanding of the story. I would really really appreciate if someone continued it, i understand the hardships for the OP and again, am grateful for its efforts, but it could be even better. If someone manages that, i will be missing only kiwami 2, judgement and LaD from the ryu ga gotoku main franchise out in West. Sorry if i bothered in some way, i didnt mean it.

Tried it and all I get is garbage text, no matter which encoding I use.

You have to decrypt your EBOOT first. (EBOOT.BIN > EBOOT.ELF)

Just beat 0 again with your patch, i had a blast! everything seems to be working, i haven't beat all the substories yet, but the ones i did all worked fine
i don't feel like playing kiwami right now, but i've tried it for a couple of hours and it also worked fine.
for those having issues on hen with these games, i managed to make them work properly by converting to iso with ps3 iso tools 2.0 (updated all the tools manually before converting it) it will resign some files to 3.55. there are a couple of premade patches online, but they must be outdated because they break a couple of parts in the games. Just convert it, let it install and update. I had no problem with replacing the files with Batu Han's english patch afterwards and everything works great.

I made a translation but not as you thought.
I couldn't translate game menu and cutscenes but ingame dialogues and ingame item descriptions are in english .

This site is number one reference for game hacks and translations.
You can contribute and add your work to their database.

1. First Create your username, read the rules.
   
2. Second start filling the forms https://www.romhacking.net/translations/addentrypage/
3. Third while reading and filling the forms with information and instruction in how to apply your patch, you will have some fields dedicated to your files, screenshots, game title screen, etc.
4. Your 7z file can be submited to https://www.romhacking.net/scratchpad/
5. And then submit other files like screenshots, readme, etc.
6. It will enter in a queue list till your entry is approved by the staff and then soon it will be released to the public.

Yup it is, sometimes I contribute by uploading some hacks and translations that aren't in their database yet. Specially Sega Genesis Mega Drive ones.

I used the site a few times when adding in some Japanese translations to my nes and snes classics. final fantasy 3j and 5j are damn good games back when final fantasy was worth something.

though, one of my childhood friends said he's playing final fantasy xv on the ps4. I have the game on my exploited system, but I've only briefly played the demo. he said it's better than he remembered it being, so I may try it out.
