4.82 Spoofer for Overflow 4.81 cfw's

OVERFLOW CFW SPOOFER 4.81 - 4.82

WORKS ON ALL OVERFLOW CFW'S:
v6 cex cobra
v7 dex mods on cex
v8 cex cobra nobd
cex2dex v1 CEX edition
dex2cex v1 DEX edition
cex2dex v2 CEX edition no bd
dex2cex v2 DEX edition no bd

Simple steps,

1. Go into overflow boxed tools and choose the option to clear cache, ps3 will restart.
2. Go to what's new in the psn column and download the cfw spoofer 4.81-4.82, it will download then run, ps3 will restart.
Now your good to go online spoofed to 4.82,

Only really necessary on cex but will work with dex if you like to be thorough.

Also a big thanks to everyone who uses overflow cfw for their support.
 
I can't get it to work. Tried on 4.81 V1 & V5. PS3 just turns off & still shows it's on 4.81 after restarting.
Probably something I'm doing because I couldn't even get it to download on V1.

Edit. 4.81 V6 fixed my problem!

Unfortunately I lost my old pc's hard drive to hardware failure,
it had all my data on including versions of the older 4.81 v5 and before,
as you can imagine it was almost time for tears as I had all my stuff related to ps3 development on there,
I couldn't remember what markers I put in those pup files, so thought it best to just do the versions I had copies of,
Luckily I transferred a few things over but I'm having to redo my cobra patcher bats I made so it'll be a little while before I finish the 4.82 cobra as I'm having to remake it from the first version I made,
and as usual my dex pup supplier has gone MIA so who knows when I'll get that lol,
I've done a few versions of 4.82 standards and I found some strange things,
First was when you turn the console off with the power plug at the back it ALWAYS asks if you want to report the problem to sony, not sure if you know but that's deffo new,
also there's a funny problem with some apps which i'm still trying to pin down to one file (may be more),
all that being said no doubt it will be a while before people update pkgs so no rush I think
 
Sorry it hear that about your HDD. I know how upsetting that can be, I lost all of my old work to a bad HDD too.
As soon as I got a copy of the update I made a basic MFW it had been so long I didn't even think about how most of the apps I use wouldn't work till they were updated lol
Great work on your CFWs by the way. I've been away for awhile so hadn't gotten to try one out till today.

I used v6 4.81 cex cobra and then I installed the overflow boxed tools and clear cache. Then I went to PSN column and clicked on what's new and it made me download 4.82. Now I'm getting a black screen that's asking me to install 4.82 after I downloaded & installed the update file....
Sorry the 4.82 is not working...

still can't find a working link for v6 for me to test

When you download it from whats new it will install and run the spoofer, when the console has rebooted the spoofer has set the version to 4.82, then i think you ran the package again which has removed the spoof.

Check the version of your ps3 in the system settings, My guess is it will say 4.81 which means you will need to run the spoofer again,

Hi Bobby, please help me out, I am new here as well with a hacked PS3, I want to spoof my 4.81 so that I can go back online.
Maybe stupid question but what are you mean with go into overflow boxed tools??? where can I find it in my ps3???

The spoofers I make are only for users of overflow cfw,
It is an app that is available to download directly to the ps3 via the whats new option in the psn column, again the feature is only available on overflow cfw,
I think sen enabler may have been updated by now you could have a look for that,
apart from that your only other option is to convert to dex (on a higher version than 4.70) as it bypasses the online update,
thing is that since zofmodz stopped releasing his spoofer hijam and arch do not put spoofers out anymore, this is because they were using his vshs (proven by unpacking their spoofers and comparing hashes and signatures),
if sen enabler has not been updated just inbox me and let me know what version of cfw your using and I will make you a spoofer app for your personal use
