hello bguerville thanks for the attention now I answer in a simple way your two answers:
1) yes my PlayStation 3 slim was with the jailbreak now it is no longer used irisam
2) now unfortunately my ps3 is at the fw 4.83 yesterday updated by mistake​

It takes the time devs needs, this is a hooby you know they work on it in theyr free time, sometimes they are busy with work, family, life or any other things. Just keep an eye in psx-place and when there is some news 'bout CFWs or new exploit it will be posted here. Until then please exercise patience.
 
I like to watch YouTube on my ps3 and Im on 4.81.2. Was originally on ofw 4.82, than cfw 4.82 and now this. I wanna be sure to know that my ps3 won't download the update but still want to use YouTube. Is there anything in the settings to prevent this from happening?

Just deactivate the auto loging option

They choose to wait and attach it on the next maintenance update, is really telling IMO.
Shows they do not have much of a budget or resources allocated to the PS3.
Also shows how they really think of exploits and their impacts iMO.

Its also the time of the year they put out lots of advertisements for the upcoming Holiday Sales and blocking those who pirate the games and sell them with exploits is a possible reason for the timing. What better way to help their sales by putting a scare into any "would be pirate buyers" and make them think twice before buying anything pirated.
Just look at the reactions so far, everyone is afraid of losing what they have and I would bet its one of the things Sony counted on.

"No better way to help sales" is the support for this theory..
Yet to protect game sales they held on to it....

Its Economics.(this is how companies make decisions.)
The cost to push an unplanned firmware update to close it vs its impact did not make economic sense to push a new update, for a budget that is very small compared to what it once was. Like i said its telling in so many ways. The firmware update was coming NO MATTER if there was PS3Xploit or not. Its a normal routine update, aspects of the PS3 have to be updated.

hola solo una pregunta yo cometí el error de actualizar a 4.83 OF ahora quiero instalar cobra y me sale error al 71% con la herramientas q estan en spy cobra tampoco la puedo liberar? gracias

hello just one question I made the mistake of updating to 4.83 OF now I want to install cobra and I get a 71% error with the tools that are in spy cobra neither can I release it? Thank you

CFW can not be installed from 4.83 OFW...

4.83 CFW (Custom firmware) can only be installed on 4.83 OFW (official firmware)
