PS3 4.83 CFW / Homebrew Apps / Plugins / Tools updated for 4.83

Sorry was sleepy. So im nuub in this case case. Any advices what to do, if i have ps3 fat cechk with 4.8.3OFW. I tried update it to spy cobra or ferox cobra,but keep geting error. So how to update curent cfw on 483 ofw?

If I correctly understand if i update my CFW 4.82 console with the 4.83 OFW, then i will not be able to go back to CFW without a hardware programmer?

Another question: Does this CFW 4.83 support's multiman 4.82 and webman 1.47.09?

If you update your 4.82 CFW with 4.83 OFW, you will lose the exploit and by extension, your CFW. You would need a hardware flasher such as E3 in order to roll back your firmware version.

The latest Sony firmware update patches both PS3xploit 2.0 as well as 3.0 HAN. You can safely update from 4.82 CFW to 4.83 CFW via the USB storage media method, and even go back to 4.82 or earlier, provided you have the QA flag enabled while on CFW.

As for your second question; keep an eye on this thread for updates on homebrew for 4.83, and read this thread to help you decide if you want to update your CFW so soon after a release. Hope this helps.
 
i guys i'm a big newbie about this, so bear with me please. Can I install cobra on my ps3 slim CECH-3001a? I study updated the firmware on a drunk spur anda now I can use the HAN eXploit anymore. There is any hope for me?

Your only hope is that there is a new exploit developed for super slim models on 4.83, but one may take a long time to emerge or perhaps not at all. Unfortunately you're stuck without HAN for the foreseeable future.

I try to apply the no-fsm patch with E3, but i take a black sreen. i can try a downgrade to 3.55?
i have ofw backup.

Yes, you can update to 4.83 CFW from 4.82 CFW. If you choose to install it, make sure you set the QA Flag to enabled in Rebug Toolbox; that way you can go back to 4.82 or earlier CFW if you choose to.
