@Alain Brunet You didn't need to re-flash your PS3, and installing HFW 4.85 is the equivalent of re-installing OFW and removing Rebug and all CFW features. I'm on Rebug 4.84.2 myself and have no intention of updating any time soon, simply because I have no real need to.
You'll need to install a 4.85 CFW and then toggle on the QA flag, which will then allow you to install a lower CFW version like Rebug 4.84.2 (the current latest available). At the moment, 4.85 SPY Cobra is the only real stable 4.85 CFW that is available to us but this is of course subject to change.
There's also a link to a QA toggler tool on that page, but alternatively you can use habib's version which works great.
From there, you'll be able to update via storage media through System Update on the XMB to 4.84 CFW or below. Installing HFW will only remove the CFW, so once on CFW there's no need to re-flash or re-install HFW ever again.
