Silly me thought i broke something after upgrade to 1tb hhd. Still forgot to back up my games tho. Anyway thanks U guy verry much!
 
Please HELP
I install OFW 4.87 in my Fat PS3
just after that i update with HFW 4.87.1
but on installation process 30% its jumps to 100%
then restart .... but its freeze on black screen
i tried to downgrade4.86 but its cant not found any way.. please help me to fix this..
 
If the console is not booting to the XMB, Go into safe mode and install HFW again.

It's normal the installation bar to jump up quickly, it should not make any difference.

Most times I saw the recent version of hen freezing is because people didnt wait enough the system to load or they used the browser previously. If the console has the LED activity, when you turn on the console only start hen after it stops blinking or if it doesnt have the activity indicator, just wait some seconds. Starting hen immediately as the icons on xmb appear always crash. If you used the browser, clean everything on it (cache, history, cookies and even the home page option to blank) and then start hen. You dont need to clean the browser everytime before starting hen, just once if you used the browser in some way.

i had one superslim that would install hen easily but never enabled. the problem went away after i changed the hard drive. i put the drive in cfw fat ps3 and it worked well. put it back in superslim and hen would not enable again.

i don't know what caused it, but i wrote on the hard drive with a sharpie marker so i do not put it back again. i tried several ways to format it but nothing helped.

I have a super slim and oddly the hen issue I sometimes get but I found out disabling internet on PS3 can fix issue sometimes I had to set internet to auto update date & time then disable internet and then launch hen and it would work or sometimes I use to get failed rebooting but disabling internet fixed this

I have installed HFW 4.87.1 and HEN 3.0.2 on my Playstation 3 Superslim. When i'm running any homebrew app or installed game after activating HEN it's always blank/black screen, and i must turn off my ps3 superslim. What is happening?. Please help me.​

Thanks for replying. I have tried every solutions that you showed to me and i'm even formatting my PS3 and install OFW then reinstall HFW and HEN, nothing works. I accidentally running app/installed games when mounting game via XMB/WebMan, they are working but when i exit app/games goes back to XMB my PS3 shows black screen and i need to turn it off.
 
I have a PS3 slim that I updated to 4.87 through the USB stick then I tried to install HFW 4.87.1 the same method and it says "No Applicable update data was found". It's a 16GB USB stick that's formatted to Fat32 and the PS3 can see it in videos and pictures. What am I doing wrong?

Just checked and the model is cech-4201a.

try installing from recovery mode (safe mode). or use 4.88 HFW instead.

BTW you do not have to install OFW before HFW anymore.
