PS3 Aldo's PS3 Tools Collection Version 2.7.40 Released

Developer Aldostools dropped a link to this 'updated', personal build of PS3 Tools Collection. It has been a while since we have seen a release from the developer but this is not per se a release but rather the dev helping out a member here at PSX-Place. Yes there could be some changes but no changelog has been divulged by Aldostools and don't expect any. Just bask in the notion that the dev did not have to release his personal version[break].[/break] but did so to help out a fellow scener and now we all benefit.

I stopped keeping a change log... Keeping a change log is time consuming, specially when the package was made for my personal use.

Too late now. I waited over 20 minutes on that Sendspace link to download. Why does anybody & I mean anybody use that site to host files? It redefines the word "slow".

Sendspace has never been fast for me. Always the slowest of them all. That's weird. I have 32mb speed internet too.

I found that MEGA, OneDrive and gDrive (Google Drive) downloads files at maximum speeds but as for MediaFire, it seems to me that the download speeds have gotten worse over the years.

Speaking of SendSpace, 1Fichier, Hugefiles et cetera are much faster than SendSpace - so much so that I would advise against anyone using SendSpace.

Send space is t fast for me but it works every time. Never in to much of a hurry anyhow.

 

All of the above works fine for me. Fast enough for the small downloads we encounter in scene releases.

 

LMAO look at how the attention has diverted from Aldo's Tools to how fast or slow certain filehosters are.

As for those who moan about MEGA, I will say that whilst MEGA provides fast download speeds, it is hindered by the unorthodox downloading system that isn't compatible with certain devices or browsers.

 

isn't there update keys up to 4.78 (is the last, no?)? I only have ultil 4.70.

I think after "MEGADOWNLOADS" got raided by the Fed's and went through court, He started this new site and watches content closer for DCMA/DMA infringements

No. The keys are already updated. Make sure to also update the pkg_contentid.exe

Oh, Ok. I tried to update the keys with PS3 Keys with an older build of PS3 Tools (the download scetool's keys button doesn't works). With the new build i can see the new keys.
