PS3 [BETA] Install All Packages (batch installation)

hmmm Webkit apps...

NetFlix, Hulu, BBC Sport, All WebMAF apps, YouTube (using h5vcc)

Maybe a few others. The WebMAF apps are interesting, with all the WK Inspector code laying about, but no seemingly easy way to use Webkit.

BBC Sport uses almost an identical WebKit version as system 4.82 and lower, before patched, but requires PSN and from testing, the use of a proxy

BBC Sport no longer works for me. Infinite loop of just "BBC Sport. Loading..." or something like that. Left in on for 30 mins and still wasn't loaded. Using the BBC Sport app from PSN Store whilst logged in to PSN.

if you look in a proxy at requests, you will see that url is no longer valid

Back on the topic of Install all packages:

I tried adding dev_hdd0/packages to the install all list, and making separate section for just root even, but nothing works. It just does not find any packages. I guess it is set up to only allow usb etc, external devices, maybe there is a way, i dont know, this is what i tried.

@Joonie I was wondering if you knew anything about how the PS3 checks certain file types. When you go to the photo column on the XMB for example, you can press triangle on your flash drive to display all files/folders. If you try to copy a folder with no photos in it, a message appears saying no photo files exist. Would it be possible to patch this out so we can copy directories directly from USB to PS3?
There is a simple way, is a bit retarded but it works as far i remember

1) click triangle in one of your PS3 savegames ---> export to USB
2) move the USB to PC, add files inside the folder
3) connect the USB device to the PS3, go to savegame section and ---> import from USB

And there is no limit in the amount of files and his filesizes

Hmmm, it looks like you need to repeat that test, you forgot to add the complete path
Use this instead:
Code:
src="host://localhost/q?path=/dev_hdd0/packages&suffix=.pkg&subclass=x-host/package"/>

I purposely did it on root, as that is how the OFW USB "install all" works, the "packages" folder is purely a CFW thing, I tried it in folder too though, no difference.

Hello,
First off I am totally new to the whole PlayStation side of things but I recently installed HAN and got everything up and running. I was looking for a way to use the Install All Packages option but was obviously getting the same error.
I've done a bit of research but can't seem to 100% confirm I'm not going to screw something up when transferring these files over.
I hate to be "that guy" but how exactly do I use this on HAN?

Good idea but I already tried it, the PARAM.PFD (Protected File Database) contains an index of all save data files. Even just hex editing the name of the file breaks the hash. You can re-encrypt the save with your own file, but this is only useful for copying a single file and there are better ways to do that.

This might be possible by creating a dummy PARAM.PFD, not sure how that could be done though.

the updated HAN Enabler and Debug PKG Enabler are now live on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) and GitHub repo

auto versions are also updated
Haha and i was seeing sourcepage a while ago and i found the ipf addr hhhh cause my friend ask me to tell him when the new HAN & Debug PKG Enabler are live :highly amused::highly amused:

So this is only for installing packages from the External USB Drive? Is it possible to get the install all packages options on Rebug 4.84.2 REX if the packages are under the packages folder on the internal HDD?

It is already tested and me and @citra mulia have upload video of install all packages functions and @esc0rtd3w himself update the scripts on ps3xploit website so it will work on any 4.84 HFW /CFW with Exploitable Webkit :)

Are you referring to the video you posted a few pages back?
I apologize as I'm in totally new waters here but I would like to understand better.
Since its been updated in the scripts on ps3xploit will it work after running the enabler?
Also I currently use the latest version of HAN toolbox which obviously supports offline enabler. If the enabler is what was updated to allow this function to work is there a way to update the offline version inside the toolbox to allow this function to work with offline mod?
Again I apologize for all the questions I'm just simply trying to understand.
