The first config he posted was reported successfull, is supposed to be used for 100% of the game... but it seems there is a specific point in the game with a problem

This new config is supposed to be used only to pass that point of the game, so you need to
1) play the game with the first config, up to that point, save game, exit
2) replace config (by test config), pass that point, save game, exit
3) replace config, continue playing

Is a test config to see if that specific problem is fixed "in a brute way" (causing other problems, but allowing to pass that point of the game)
In the most optimistic scenario, maybe this test config is going to give some hint about how to improve the first config
 
Btw @nictse if you play the game try to make a copy of the gamesave inmediatly before that point of the game where there is a missing character and upload it
This savegame can help kozarovv or other people working in the config of this game, i dont know how many playtime is needed to reach that point of the game, but having a savegame before it is handy because this way they doesnt needs to play the game

And if at some point you find other problem in other point of the game do the same (prepare a savegame before it, report it, and share the savegame)... i guess in this game is probable to have more problems becaue the people that was testing it never passed that point of the game with the missing character (so they never took a look at what happens later in the game)

Btw, in gamefaqs there are a few savegames for steambot chronicles, not sure if the game allows you to move freelly around the map after completion (to return to the level with the problems, and trigger again that scenes with missing characters), but dunno, maybe this savegames are going to short the time needed to reach that problematic points of the game

I checked the walkthrough,the problematic point is at about 1/3 of all through.
If a quick test,i can do that, but I'm afraid i haven't enough time to play that far.
and i checked FAQ's save,there's a save after the point.the other saves that describe blur, if u don't play game,can figure out how far the distance to point.so helpless.

Ops, 1/3 of the game story is a lot, and steambot chronicles is not the kind of short game, i guess that 1/3 could take 20 hours to me, lol

The other alternative i imagine right now to get to that point could be by using apollo (the savegame tool), start a new game, and use apollo to enable all the cheats available... then rush the game story in brainsless mode and as faster as posible (rambo style)
Dunno, maybe someone that already played the game could do it in a faster way... like an speedrun + cheating everything

Wait, apollo doesnt allows to apply PS2 cheats... so it needs to be made with other tool

finished the first level.almost time speed is normal.

knowing issue:
1.some footages in cutsence will drop fps,but very short.
2.1st level,some place will get shortest black flick.
3.when met big enemy,fps will drop,slow to hard to aim.
compatibility list said"Also game have some slowdowns here, and there."
i dont know whether it's like i said.

About ghosthunter, The much problems on swamp stage! Old config works in churh and fix ladder problem but next in swamp stage, big ghost with chainsaw make ps3 to freeze! Will you test swamp stage?

If there are any slow downs, then maybe prafull patch will be better to use. At least for Ghosthunter, and Yanba. Primal, and 24 the game really have proper patches for that.

Regarding PS2 STUNTMAN I have two original versions. SLES 50288-P and SLES 50288, as all the above posts mention it has issues and in my view its unplayable. Has anyone managed to get a workaround, or can it be converted to a PS2 Classic and maybe work then.......please excuse my lack of knowledge, but would love to have this game on my PS3.

This game is unplayable, and probably will stay like that forever. I managed to fix car path, but that made game so slow, as accurate math was required in so many points.. Even without that framerate is bad, with fix is rarely above 5 fps.

This also hit Driv3r as game engine is the same.

Im have config for us version who fix ladder problem but as im say next on swamp stage will be freeze
