the size will stay the same because patching the iso will change some data but will not add or subtract any data.oh so i figured it out got codebreaker working re did the iso thing (not sure what was wrong same files same size) and turns out joker codes do work with it thanks for the help mr jared and devild
wanted to ask how should i put cheatdevice list in the iso i kept it as is(compressed) but it couldn't read it should i uncompress it or is there a specific location?well im glad you got it working, Yeah the Joker codes will work with most full cheat systems like codebreaker, cheatdevice and the many others, some games are harder to add a codebreaker into due to TOC or LBA protections but thankfully GodHand doesnt really have any of that.

Can you try this on MB: Act Cadenza?Melty Blood games.

I'll test as soon as I can. After I quick test on pcsx2, it seems like something like this would most likely work on netemu! Does this negate some sort of sync function in the game? Can you try this on MB: Act Cadenza?

This break graphic, but fix freeze on old pcsx2 releases. I just want to know that issue is the same, because if yes then we can find some better solution using pcsx2 as debugger.
Kinda, game use some kind of buffers for stuff sent by DMA, at 0x70fd70, and 0x68fd70. Second one seems to be issue, and is overwritten with bad data (guessing here..). I just found out why it hang, and tried to ignore second buffer, it seems to work for hang, but of course mess graphic. I think i can try to debug that properly later, or maybe you will find solution earlier.Does this negate some sort of sync function in the game?
So it's different issue than on pcsx2, that's where my journey with this game ends. I have no way to test it outside of pcsx2, and can't reproduce issue there. :/@kozarovv Act Cadenza still freezes with config.Maybe both offsets you mentioned need to be altered instead of just one?
Thanks for your efforts. It's obvious pcsx2 and netemu handle stuff with dma differently. Maybe netemu is just more susceptible to timing issues rather than pcsx2. I think both issues are related, but netemu must be caught up on something else (since there's no freeze before opening fmv on netemu). So it's different issue than on pcsx2, that's where my journey with this game ends. I have no way to test it outside of pcsx2, and can't reproduce issue there. :/

Not sure if this could help (maybe to do memory dumps), but have you tryed to:As for Valkyrie Profile 2, I have discovered that the rare freeze is only triggered after the first battle, whether it be starting a new game or loading a game (from any location it seems). After first battle, game can freeze in around a minute or two after battle due to the game protection being enabled somehow. However, if no freeze, that means game protection is successfully disabled and there will be no freezes (and more peace of mind while playing). I am still puzzled why this exists, and why it is so random, but it is very rare (maybe <5% chance of it happening)
You could try to dump ps2netemu memory, maybe you will see something@sandungas That is a good idea, but unfortunately it seems pcsx2 doesn't have an issue with this from what I tested, so I can't really do further work with it. All of this at this point is just blindly testing with netemu.![]()
What the...how did I not know this exists?!You could try to dump ps2netemu memory, maybe you will see something
