Disability

yeah, bitsiboo. like my title. ;) to get my hearing, it normally takes between six months to a year. we're coming up to month 10 on the 16th.

I hope all goes well for you. I've missed you a lot. those Jason memes always make me lol. I also love the Jason emojis especially that one where he's slashing with a knife. I think either cards or grimm named it bitsbubba. lol
Cards named it, I feel like a cyborg now that I've got this port protruding out of my body just under my skin :-p

we're all family here! Best community in the scene IMHO!!

I agree. :) I've never felt more comfortable than with all of you. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm stalking you, but I have so much free time now that I'm not working. ;) you've been a good friend.

@kadorna2 , my source statement (the one you give to the lawyer) has a question on it about your condition. it asks what percentage of the time would your symptoms prohibit you from working. the max was/is 25%.

In my country the calculation is different. It's how much percentage (in my case) prevents you from doing certain workloads. With my 23% for example I cannot work at construction or something that requires lower body strenght. It has nothing to do with time. I also will get paid money based on the disability percentage, 1 time only. Then I can get a permit so I get discounts on public transport (bus, train, subway, long distance bus too maybe) and free parking.

oh, I assumed you were American. I don't know where you're from, but your English is spot on. I think the worst part about being disabled is so-called friends not caring a thing about your illness or condition. I dropped all of my so-called friends. I consider them unnecessary baggage and they deserve their circumstances. I'm happy with the way things are now though. I have bits, atreyu, Correll, and a few others, whom may not like to be named. they've always helped me out when I felt down.

I forgot to mention you too. it's difficult to get that second wind, but you all make that possible with your support. I hope you get your disability @kadorna2 . it's an ordeal here in the states.

I've started exercising again, so I'm a bit sore. I used to exercise with 50lb dumbbells in each hand, but I'm starting with something smaller.

I also quit drinking a couple months ago. I didn't like the way it started to making me feel. it started to make me feel woozy and dizzy.

I should hear back about snap within 30 days. :) this month was my last month 'til I renew.

Hello,@pinky, 4 more days till i am supposed to get an answer on disability went to court again finally, after they lost my case! Probably denied again for the 4th time lol ! Next court will be federal court if denied again. Thought i would give you an update. To go along with all the other stories. Lol

If you ain't dead, you're able to work. <-- Swedish government motto.

I know the struggle to be heard and fight for your cause. Many good stories to relate to. :)

@pinky, i feel for ya its been about 4 years for me.what did the letter say if you dont mind me asking?

it basically said, we're waiting on a court hearing but no date has been set. I've gotten the same thing for the past 11 months. I'm coming up to 2 years since I started filing for disability I foolishly thought I'd get it immediately since my doctors thought I needed it.
