Downgrade from 4.06 to 4.05

Didn't work for me if it did surely we could all downgrade from one firmware to another using the trick multiple times. I formatted and reset several times no dice.

when I formatted the drive that came with my ps4, there were like 12+ partitions on it. it's probably set up like the vita...considering the same lead engineer designed both systems. the core os is kept on the internal flash, and that's likely what's preventing this from working. otherwise, it would be a serious oversight by sony.

Lol, just lol is all I can say. ;/ Guys there is no method to downgrade PS4. Firmware is not only on HDD, but also on built-in memory. And there are stored info about firmware version required to boot. There is no way to install 4.05 on ANY higher firmware, doesn't matter what trick you use.

Really guys, $ony is not that stupid to allow that kind of thing in their current gen.
 
Well it could have been a screw up by $ony: if they forgot to remove the flag from the beta that allows to go back. In that case it would have been possible only going down 1 fw from one specific fw.
I never believed they would screw that up though ;)
