Yes. I will install Ferrox 4.85 then, thank you. I used to play MGSV online through another PSN account, here's hoping it still works.

One more thing, I'm seeing there's an hybrid firmware 4.85.1. Now I also happen to have a HEN modded slim (for my little bro): is this hybrid firmware capable of running multiman? HEN compatible games have always been fewer.

No problem. I'm running Ferrox Cobra 4.85 myself and it works great. :) Yes you can install HFW 4.85.1 and then HEN for your little brother's PS3, and you can run many homebrew on HEN, including multiMAN.
 
Hey guys my ps3 keeps saying connect storage media that contains update data on 4.85 latest firmware or lower but I'm on 4.85cex and this happens randomly when I unplug the ps3 cord and then replug it after 5-6hours it says your ps3 was not turned off properly and then works perfectly fine and then I'll play for a bit again and then same thing.

i was looking for info on how to add items to the xmb menu . i downgraded to 2.50 ofw which is the lowest i can go . i noticed i could install other os again. i also learned there are rco, xml, and sprx files that are used to edit the xmb. i was wondering if it was possible to edit those files and copy the info associated with other os and add them to a newer cfw in theory. do you think it might be possible or has this been tried before and failed?
 
Can I have cobra cfw on here or not.

Hi guys i need help whit my ps3 4.85 cfw console i have a problem whit rap files i cant install them i try it whit react psn but it dont work i m now try whit psnpatch but my console is banned and for install rap files i need login psn

rap files are installed automatically on hen as long as the rap files are in dev_usb00x/exdata or dev_hdd0/exdata . if you're banned and can't activate, I don't know what what you can do then. you need an act.dat. reactpsn will make an unsigned one, but I don't know if that works with hen.
 
So I've had cfw on my slim 120gb for a few months and after doing A bit of research and video watching Ive seen a lot about hen so I decided to install it on my superslim 500gb. I've only ran hen roughly 10 hours total. I installed it within this last week. Up until half an hour ago (spent restarting and trying different possible fixes) it's only froze on me a small handful of times but today it froze numerous times during simple actions (opening multiman, etc) and now it won't enabling entirely. And advice? Or has anyone else has this happen yet? I tried looking it up but nothing. It just says failed rebooting every time I try to enable it

i recently jailbroke my (phat) ps3 and i have multiman on it and i even have a usb stick with game data on it wich the playstation does recocnise but i do not know how to play the game i have copied from my usb because when i start it in multiman in brings me back to the home page of playstation. what programm do i need to run the games or what do i need to do in order to make my games i downloaded run?
i have all the latest playstation updates and multiman updates etc.
NOTE: No i do not have any expirience in jailbreaking or anything of the sorts

unfortunatly you cannot jailbreak or install jailbreaks on your ps3 supperslim, i have tried and it broke my superslim, i now have a phat model because it is the easiest to do.
