fake. youtube has a lot of click bait stuff. in fact, there's a guy on there claiming to know how to upgrade a ps3 to a ps4 by installing ps4 firmware on the ps3 or tricking it to accept it. it's not possible.

there's hen for the ps4 including a mira cfw sort of thing. it's still supposed to suffer from panics, but it's less frequent. I haven't tried it. panics on the ps4 include shutdowns where it has to check the hdd for errors or black screens. it doesn't happen THAT often, but it can happen with a series of payloads being deployed or sometimes even just one. and, it might not happen 'til you boot the system up again. it's kinda a pita, because you might think something is very wrong with your system. however, it's normal. I don't know if hen on the ps3 has even been prone to that or just a normal failing without any ill effects.
