PS4 Hacking the PS4 (PlayStation 4 Jailbreak)

So there is no downgrade on PS4 RIGHT >??

no way to downgrade as of yet. one of the devs (think it was Math), showed a decrypted 5.55 ofw just to taunt sony. he's the same dev that said the ps4's security was "meh."

there is at least two exploits that I know of, but neither has been released or leaked. I think they work even on the latest firmware. once it's patched (if it is) or possibly eol, the exploits will probably be released.

I read that some were my self .
that someone has a decryped firmware and has not released it yet.
Just can't remember were..

Yea I have seen that .
But I think Modded Warfare said that there has been someone working on it and he
was showing all of the exploits and said that someone had figured it out but not yet released it.
do to spammers and SONY.. Something like that..
HOPEFULLY I didn't word it wrong but I believe it was within the lines like that...
 
I think spider man was decrypted, and I think that requires 5.55. I have no idea if someone released it on the internet.
 
no idea. I haven't really messed around with the ps4 for like almost a year. I'm not really a part of the scene or have beeen testing things like I did with several other consoles. I still need to dump my databases again after installing about 40 games. I've heard that since they're not using a legit license they won't show up if you rebuild the database. I'm not sure if that's true. I rebuilt the save database, and it didn't affect the games themselves.

Not to sure my self but sounds about right..
I heard that on the PS4 were you have to restore game license for whatever reason
and the license not being legit.
So why do it ?
 
I would like to change the subject if you don't mind.?
In the lines of kinda wishing that I had the know how
to be able to Jailbreak the XBox One to do what we can do on the PS3?
I just was wondering if it can be done and how to do it .

but there is a guy on the XBOX One Modding Tutorials that us quite cocky
it's funny...
But yea all I could dig up is that the have the same as the PS3 and PS4
MODDING the game saves..

Can't we do that on PS4 now without the PS4 exploit ?
 
I know c4eva (the dev responsible for dvd drive, cfw on the 360) managed to dump a few discs not too long after the xbone was released. there's also some sort of exploit that allows you to examine the file system, but as far as actually hacking it to run unsigned code, I don't think it's currently possible.

ok just want clear that up..
 
I think you can run things like emulators in dev mode or something. I know microsoft was removing emulators from their little shop or whatever it is. maybe not now? retroarch may be on there.
 
Devmode can be gotten free if I mind right and retroarch is working OK for most emulators been ages since I turned on ma xboxone hing always got a update when Eva yah turn it on lol
 
it seems pretty pointless to own both an xbone and a ps4. the only two games I'd buy an xbone for are sunset overdrive and killer instinct. I know c4eva managed to rip a few games shortly after the xbone came out, but it seems as though there's little interest, especially with a dev mode existing.
