Yes, PSN PKG. They are retail (signed by $ony) and not modified. Usually, needs a license file (RAP). Retail packages can be installed in both, OFW, HEN and CFW.

I'll be doing my first run on my 7.02 in a few days (just need to wrap up some woodworking projects first) but I know from previous mentions that you're on 5.05 @pinky

Let me know if you want some screenshots of 7.02 or if you need me to test-run a guide that's WiP & provide feedback. Your guides have helped me so much over the years, it's the least I could do, and I would neither ask for nor want any credit, if that's of any concern. ;)

well, I don't want it to sound like a threat, but I know it's time to move on. that's why I haven't been a part of the switch scene, but I have a friend who's supplied me its keys from lockpick to compress my games (have 137 of them with 217GBs left on my 1TB sd card). :D I've already started getting back in shape, and I plan to do what I was doing before the scenes. there are times when I wish I was never a part of the scenes though, because I've always been a "teach a man to fish" sort of person when a lot of people want things done for them, so my tutorials are largely useless.

In my experience, it is the people who want everything done for them who are useless. Speaking for myself, I've got 3 PS3s, a PS2, and a PSP, (PS4 Soon) that are all getting frequent use, thanks to the hard work of devs and guide/tut writers on this site. I'm a comfortable hobby tinkerer / DIY-er, and my hacking knowledge is just barely enough to elevate me past the rank of "script kiddie" in the hacker hierarchy, but I could've been caught in a Sci-Fi-esque time loop for a thousand years and never figured out 0.01% of the knowledge on this site.

I hope you never leave, @pinky , but if you do, I just wanna make sure you get a proper "thank-you" from me, so: Thank you.

Maybe someone understands and has tried it. I want to know how to convert PSN RAP games so they don't use RAP files anymore or many people call it PSNnoRAP. What I read, I need EBOOT.bin and RAP files from PSN games, and patched EBOOT.bin with certain tools. What tools can be used to convert the PSN type game. All I know is converting CFW type games to CFW2OFW.

i think the easiest way is to resign the game (and dlc) as free license. then it will play on any ps3 it is installed to. i never learned to do because i only have a few psn games.

this is actually how some pirate game rips are made, so of course we can not discuss the method here (because that is considered pirate talk). i am sure you can find something on google.
 
Hi so I'm curious, can I install a pkg/rap using HAN? And if so how do I install HAN. (Asking for a friend who doesn't want to get HEN
