I installed dynamic themes via HAN Toolbox's theme downloader (The Akiba's Trip and Growing Garden) -- they work as intended with HAN enabled or not.
Ok, i should elaborate a little more. How it happens ?, you enable HAN and the theme is removed ?, and what happens when you go to theme settings ?, the theme appears as enabled ?
Edit:
And ths problem happens... only in "static" themes, only in "dynamic" themes, or in both ?
Ok, so in dynamic themes the RAF animation freezes instantlyI've also come across similar behaviour with themes and HAN.
I use a dynamic theme of a waterfall.
The part that's dynamic is just the water running off the fall, the rest of the background is static landscape.
When moving on the XMB, the waterfall part goes black. Like a big black box over the waterfall but the static landscape stays there.
Its intermittent and hard to recreate on purpose. But deffo happens often.
Other dynamic themes work fine though, so my scenario might just be one busted/corrupt theme.
Dunno, this confuses me a bit because is an "static" theme, so not related with raf animations (you should extract the contents of the PS3 theme to check if there is a RAF inside though, just incase to be sure)Ok, i should elaborate a little more.
When i activate HAN, when it comes back from the browser window, the theme stays there, i don't know why i said it didn't xD.
But if i switch accounts, which i do when getting games on my system, or i go back to the menu after playing, it reverts to the normal theme, the wallpaper stays though (it's a custom one).
When i check the settings after this, it says "Corrupted Data" and won't apply it until i restart the system.
And i only have a static theme for now, it being the PS 20th anniversary, i don't have any dynamic themes or custom ones not from the store.
Funny I talked about this in my first or second thread and no one cared about it Orz
same happens to some DLC, while most of the games checks them only once others check DLC installed each boot (Persona 5, GGXRD, all Tales of for example) in some cases making them crash or refuse to load the save data (specially those whose DLC are just edat keys with all content existing on the disc >_>)
that's interesting. I know that tales of hearts r for the vita checks for dlc at every boot as well. I do own tales of zesteria for the ps4, but I can't recall if it checks for that. tbh, I'm not even sure if there's dlc for the game. I'm on 5.05, so I can't download it anyway.
I learned that with Berseria so it most likely does, the thing is, most games only check for the license of the DLC when it's added, afterwards only check if data is present, while these actually check the license validation each boot actually ignoring the integrity of the DLC package itself, for example Tales of Xillia has most of the costumes locked in the disc, however the description for them is on the DLC, if only the key is installed the costumes will be available but the description and item name will appear empty
