I tried two ways of pushing the files.
1.Splitting
I used a split4g to split files and install but during installation the file corrupts. Is there a better reliable program or another way of splitiing?
2.Webserver
I can only install through internet connection between PS3 and PC and the download speeds are horrible. How do I do a direct connection without Internet and download files to PS3.

Anyone who has had success with this please post your methods?

Splitting is for CFW only as far as I know.

Use lan cable to both PS3, and PC. Best result is when you not use router, but with lan cable & router speed is not bad.

Just note you need to set manual IP on both in same range if you connect directly, with same fake gateway, and and subnet mask. As you have no DHCP device.

Thank you. I managed to push the games all right. Downloads were faster than installation though.:D:D

Thanks!
I gave it a read but I hit a wall :P

How can I modify XMB files, like category_game.xml in this case?

Ah, you might have noticed habib posted in that thread that he was including it in HAN files, so you can skip that step ;)

You just need to add package_link.xml to usb drive

Yeah I did notice that actually. Well that's great! I'll give it a shot!

Don't forget to run a webserver, for xampp that I used, you just install it, run it, and press the top start button, then add your packages to c:\xampp\htdocs\ , done.

No. don't use them. you don't any extra files.
With this files you can change only category_game.xml and use them with HAN Debug PKG Enabler. DeVil303 is right! It is better to use for this HAN Installer. The main purpose of package_link_maker is automatically creation urls for your packages on local webserver with automatically checked CID. His project is much better then this.
I use my method because I need only HAN Debug PKG Enabler without other features of HAN.
And it works greate for me. But I'm following the project by Devil303. It is cool!!!

No, its not that, I just meant you don't need your category_game.xml, cos its built in to HAN installer already.

So after a couple of seconds hanging on a "Please wait..." screen, I get a message giving the error code 80710092. The server is already running on my PC, and the package is on the htdocs folder aswell. I've changed package_link.xml accordingly too, adding the contentID, IP and PKG name.

Any ideas of stuff I could be doing wrong?

Could be a few things, package not signed right, content ID entered wrong, HAN enabler needs to be ran first of course. or webserver issue even..not sure, check webserver is running by using browser on pc to go to pc ip
